Mayonaka, Nijaushi {Division Two - Third Seat} <WIP>

Basic Information

Name: Mayonaka, Nijaushi

Age: Two-hundred and twenty; albeit his appearances would presumably cause one to believe he is of the mere age of fourteen.

Gender: Male.

Division: Two.

Seat: Three.

Looks:



Aye, of all, his most notable feature, excluding his height, is the odd, foreign shading of his hair; upon his dome rests a two-toned mass of a charcoal black and a halcyon white. The two colors seemingly clashing for dominance, only a streak of white has claimed its place. The rest a sea of black. Continuing on, Nija's eyes would be most comparable to a duo of glossy sea-blue marbles; oft' times rolling about in an absent state of mind where he hawks off into the distance, or in retort to someone his disposition isn't too acquainted with.

Above these rests two slivers of white, these of course being his eyebrows. A smug grin is often placed upon his face, unless this is replaced by a grimace of sheer boredom. His teeth are always kept a miraculous white, for he does have high standards somewhat. A proboscis is perfectly placed in the midst of his other features, aligned accordingly. His ears are of average size, in proportion with his face; the right ear contains to piercings; two minute metallic earrings lay on the edge of the ear, near the middle. Another odd addition would be his tattoo. The color nearly perfectly imitates that of his eyes, the design consisting of several spiral-like swirls, with a circle placed in the middle.

The design continues up his left arm, and ends at his left pectoral muscle. For clothing, Nijaushi is donned in the traditional black shinigami garments, of a most enticing fabric. A white cloth forming a makeshift belt which ties at the waist. His feet are kept in a pair of durable brown sandals, which seem near soundless when Nija is sneaking about. For extra comfort, or simply an unnoticeable fashion statement is a black wrist band worn on the left arm. Lastly, Nija wears a tan, earthen holster for his zanpakutou; for easy access.



Personality:

One single, simple word can be used to sum up most of Nijaushi's actions: childish. It would seem that his appearance does match his persona quite accurately. To begin with, he seems to find it necessary to joke about most anyone; not a single soul seems to be out of his range. His dialect could most well consist of some form of mockery of his superiors or possibly someone he dislikes in anyway.

However, he seems to find some amusement in this, especially when he can bring about some form of distress to those he taunts. This is sometimes used as a tactic against those who are susceptible to it. Nija is also quite a sneak, this somewhat carrying-over from his time upon the human world; which this skill is often assisted his peeping eyes. He is a sly one, or at least can be quite manipulating at times when this is necessary.

However, when in a certain predicament, Nijaushi's attitude can over-go a complete overhaul; evolving from his foolish-self to a quick-thinking, problem solving individual. He oft times goes into this way of thinking when he is cornered, or in a highly dangerous situation.

Zanpakuto Information

Zanpakuto Name: Kurozôge

Zanpakuto Looks: When not in any other form, Kurozôge takes the shape of a rather simple katana. The sheathe being a royal blue, which is complimented on the hilt by the same tinge. Despite the zanpakutou's rudimentary design, it is quite effective in Nija's hands.

Zanpakuto Description: Unlike most zanpakutou one will run across, Kurozôge is of a unique temperament; possessing no natural affinity -- its techniques rely mostly upon the manipulation of reiatsu to create attacks and such.

Released Zanpakuto Description:

Kyojin Tsume - Nijaushi first gather reiatsu at the one of the weapon, once swung, the reiatsu is released in the form of three claw marks. The reiatsu being compressed fires off quite quickly, and if it does make contact, the effects would result in sizable gashes.

Kakuchōko - Nija first has to pierce the ground with the weapon, once he does this, bamboo will spawn from the ground in front of him. Often several sharpened pieces at a time; the range of this attack isn't to great, only able to spread a mere five feet in front of him. However, the height of the bamboo can reach ten feet in length. The end of each stalk have been cut in a manner to sharpen them, this likely to pierce things such as flesh.


Zanpakuto Release Phrase: "Raunji nitsuite, Kurozôge."

Released Zanpakuto Looks: Upon taking the transition into the first release, shikai, Kurozôge undergoes a complete change; shifting form from a katana to a double-sided halberd. The hilt of the weapon comprised of a sturdy section of bamboo, the blades seemingly constructed from some kind of metal. Due to his size, he of course wields it with two hands. However; if necessary the weapon can split in half from the midsection, thus allowing Nija to dual wield it.

Zanpakuto Spirit:



Albeit, Nija's zanpakutou spirit isn't actually that frightening; the manifestation takes form of large, rotund panda. Of course, with a insatiable hunger for bamboo. Kuro, as Nijaushi has nicknamed with spirit, is quite comical in certain manners; his appetite oft times interrupting quite serious situations. However, once his hunger has been sustained, the panda become a calm, stern individual; as if his persona is as two-toned as his black and white fur.

Zanpakuto Realm: The land governed by Kurozôge is of course suited to meet his needs. The realm is filled with bamboo thickets, flowing water, and calm sun. The sky oft times bombarded with patches of clouds, limiting the amount of sun light that actually reaches the ground. Kurozôge can often be found deep within this realm, devouring the bamboo that inhabits it.
