This guide possesses the code and a quick description of everything you need to get your character approved if you are going to be a shinigami. Please give it a quick run through before asking questions.

Basic Information

Name:

Obviously. Just give us your name.

Age:

Give us both your real age and your appeared age. Most people won't be overwhelmingly old. Try to keep it in the 100-200 range.

Gender:

Male or Female. Duh.

Division:

What division you are in or want to be in. You can change before you are assigned a division. Once in, you must make a special request.

Looks:

What your character looks like. You can be unique, but remember there are regulations that all shinigami must follow. We are a military and must look like we are on the same side.

Alignment:

Basic D&D (Nerdy ) alignment scheme. We have a guide to choose from Here

Personality:

Give us a brief description of your personality and how you react to certain situations. Are you quick to anger? Softspoken? Furious rager? Let us know!

Zanpakuto Information

Zanpakuto Name:

Simple. Give us the name that your zanpaktou answers to at the shikai level. Most won't know it until they get a couple of topics under their belt, but just because your character has no idea doesn't mean it does not already exist.

Zanpaktou Theme:

Describe to us in a phrase what your zanpaktou will do. An example would be: Ice Manipulation or Sound Wave Manipulation. Don't give us specifics. Those come later.

Zankpaktou Appearance

This is a two-parter. First, give us what your zanpaktou looks like unreleased. For almost all, it will be a simple katana, but give us the color. Does the guard have a fancy design on it? Second, tell us what form your zanpaktou takes when you finally release shikai. If your sword changes, tell us how. If your gear changes, describe it to us. Be descriptive!

Zanpakuto Release Phrase:

Quote us your release phrase. It will be the phrase you use when awakening your shikai at any point once it has been purchased.

Zanpaktou Abilities:

What abilities does your Zanpaktou grant you? If you control an element, tell us how and to what extent. If you have a more difficult ability, please explain to us how, in a bleach universe this comes to be. If it does not fit into the universe immediately, don't fret, our moderators will try their best to help you. If it is too Overpowered, then it might have to be edited.

Zanpakuto Spirit:

Describe the Looks and Persona of your spirit briefly. A link or spoilered picture would be nice as well.

Zanpakuto Realm:

When you enter your own soul to speak or interact with your zanpaktou, what do you see when you look around. What do you feel while there. Ichigo's was a city with an ocean in the bottom. Remember that your soul reacts to your sense of mind and emotions and can change some according to that.

History and RP Sample

History:

This part is quite flexible. You can tell a story of your past if you wish, though walls of text can get very boring. You may also bullet point important happenings in your life. Most people won't have much to put here starting out, but give your life before joining the academy.

RP Sample:

Give us a sample of how you will RP as your character. Try to give us an average of what you would normally post. We will then read it and see what your skills as a writer look like as well as a glimpse into how your going to play your character. If you want, do into deeper detail about an event in your history. This part is exceptionally important for starting characters.
