Zurui is a folf spirit, half wolf and half fox. He has the cunning of a fox and the feral rage of a wolf within him. He does not wear clothes often as his fur causes him to overheat. His fur takes on a lush ivory tone set apart only by his pale blue eyes. He holds no shame at his animalistic appearance and constantly flaunts in a childish way to others. Despite his young looks and short height he is incredibly agile and flexible. He has a tail - that is almost constantly wagging - that matches his snowy white fur. The only article of clothing the folf has to his name is a pair of black shorts that he wears when he is ordered too and not many other times.

Personality: Zurui has a deceptive childlike demeanor that hides an underlying intelligence. While he does not posses the reflexes to act against all attacks he does possess an ability to read his opponent's attacks with relative ease. This usually leads to a cockiness that leads to his downfall most times.

Zanpakuto Information

Zanpakuto Name: Kanto no Chiri (Lit, “Dust of Diamonds” | Eng, “Diamond dust”)

Zanpakuto Looks: A basic wakazashi with a snowflake handguard.

Zanpakuto Description: N/A before Shikai release.

Released Zanpakuto Description: In it's released state Kanto no Chiri is constantly collecting the humidity in the air to the blade. This moisture is flung with each swing of the sword and freezes to whatever it touches. This newly formed Ice has a specific quality to it that, infused with Zurui's reiatsu, makes it capable of breaking apart living tissue if left on too long. (Captain class is two posts, all others one post.) The ice itself can only affect an area roughly the size of a pea (due to it being a frozen water droplet) The ice can affect clothing, shredding it over two posts to the size of a nickel per droplet. The affected clothing falls away and shatters. This does not affect the target further when it touches clothing. Effective range for this passive ability is 15 feet in any one direction following the momentum of a slice. To prevent (Passive cost 1.5 stam point per post to constantly gather moisture, cannot be turned off | -0.5 stam point to infuse moisture with Reishi to allow Diamond dust effect, cannot be shut off | -0.5 stam point per post to coat himself in his reishi to prevent the diamond dust effect from effecting him. | Weakness to fire based Reiatsu and reishi as well as Ice type. Strong against water based.)

On top of this is a more direct attack, Hyoukiri, The Icecutter technique requires direct contact from the blade to an intended target. This attack makes cuts worse by leaving the passive diamond dust water in a cut. (this is the Diamond Dust effect in a cut and is part of the Diamond Dust effect's drains.

Hekiken ~ False blade. Is a technique that allows Zurui to make a blade of Ice over the blade of his released sword. This ice is incredibly hard and sharp but can still be destroyed. While in effect this technique halts the diamond dust water, instead using it to constantly keep the blade sharp. The blade dissipates after 2 posts. (2.5 Stam points to form with Diamond Dust drain to maintain. Takes 1 post to form over the blade and the second post enlarges it. Can be used twice per topic)

Zanpakuto Spirit: Kanto's spirit is that of a white fox kit that constantly rests beneath the tree in its realm.

Zanpakuto Realm: The top of a moutain peaking over the clouds with a single tree above it. The temperature here is so cold any moisture in the air freezes to everything it touches save for the Zanpaktou spirit and Zurui

History and RP Sample

History: Zurui's human life was spent among a shamanistic tribe in the mountains of Ireland. The tribe was a spiritually blessed group of humans that were in-tuned with their land and spirits. Before his death Zurui came of age by fully fusing with his spirit animal, a folf. Bred by his tribe, folves were a cross between wolves and foxes that were released into the mountains. On one of his trips with his brother they came upon a bear and his brother fell trying to save him. In a feral rage Zurui charged the bear but managed worse then his brother. They died on the mountain side.

For close to a month he and his brother roamed the mountains as spirits before a passing soul reaper performed a Konsou on them. In the Konsou both he and his brother lost their memories but were sent to the same district of Rukongai. Nearly a month passed before the two saw each other. Their names having changed since living to Zurui and Byakko.

After nearly a year of living in the rukongai districts Zurui began to notice a recurring dream. He would appear on a mountain's peak with a single tree impossibly perched on the very peak. Always as he neared it he would notice a young folf kit nestled in the roots, its fur as white as the clouds that floated around the peak. As he would near the folf its eyes would snap open and Zurui would wake up in a cold sweat. Ice would cling to his fur where the sweat had frozen in place. A month passed with this dream recurring before both he and his brother were brought to the Spirit Academy.

Once it was explained to them that they were Shinigami the brothers began training their tails off. After six months Zurui managed to release his sword for the first time. Pushed to the very edge of his limits by his teacher his mind receded into his zanpaktou as time stood still around him. His teacher's form blurred as a massive bear stood on its hind legs to strike. His hands drifted slowly up to block the blow as his sword spoke to him. “Child, stand above them all. Wield me and be above them all,” its voice whispered. “my name is....” As time sped back up Zurui's hands clutched tightly onto a forming sword handle.

“Kanto no Chiri!” he yelled as his teacher's practice sword connected with the newly formed blade. An explosion of reiatsu rocked the room in which the pair fought. All of the paper windows had been blown out by the reiatsu and even Byakko stood watching in awe as his younger brother surpassed him. As the class let out the teacher pulled Zurui to the side and told him he would undergo ten days of training before being released into the court guard squads.

Zurui's training went by fast enough and Zurui was assigned to division 5 as the fourth seat. For close to a decade Zurui has remained the fourth seat of the fifth division while his brother remained an unseated shinigami. For the time being he was content being there until his division's third seat was promoted to the vice captain of another After much encouragement from his brother Zurui accepted the position of third seated officer of the fifth division.

It took quite a while for another position to open in the squads and thanks to a vacancy left by the death of his squad's vice captain Zurui was able to take the position of Vice captain of the 5th squad. Under his captain's guidance Zurui has spent the last few years perfecting his Shikai and has been able to drastically boost his effectiveness with his zanpaktou.

As well as all of this Zurui has begun to tap into his Zanpaktou's spirit more and more over the decades between his promotions. He now stands poised on the verge of materializing his zanpaktou's spirit. Within his Zanpaktou's realm the cloud's surrounding the mountain have dispersed to reveal a larger world beneath them. In the distance however a thin mist threatens to rise above the mountain's peak.

1. All of your techniques need to be put in the template and in the techniques section in the app template.

2. Your going to have no kido at all? VC need to be more well rounded.

*headdesks* ffs...you know that might be something to tell a person when you tell them how to fix it. and is it no longer assumed that the VC's have a basic Kidou knowledge?

Everything you have in your arsenal is required in your application. If it's not in the app, it can't be used.
