Personality: Mira-chan normally acts like a very energetic young girl. She is constantly bubbly, hyperactive, and most importantly annoying. What few people realize at first glance is that most of this is simply obfuscating stupidity. She in fact is a very bright and mature woman that has had to live for years in a manner that would drive most people mad. To most of the world she shows the personality that might be associated with her outward appearance, but amongst friends and occasionally when stressed she allows this facade to slip to reveal a keen mind and a passionate heart. Mira was thanks to the kindness of the shinigami, forced to sit and watch as first her family, then her entire race were slowly and methodically exterminated. Mira hates shinigami with a cold seething passion tempered only by the despair of knowing that she can never do enough to even be noted by the shinigami. Her every day of life is a reminder of the terrible curse that she has been forced to live under by beings to ancient to understand their cruelty. Mira keeps her sanity mainly through laughter. If she is'nt constantly gallivanting from amusement to amusement she tends to grow increasingly melancholic.

Armor/Glove Information

Name: yota muimi (idle nonsense or nonsense nonsense)

Bow Manifestation: Mira-chan’s bow manifests as a line of blue spiritual energy that connects her thumb and fore finger on each hand. By pointing finger and thumb at an enemy like a gun. By snapping her thumb down like the hammer on a gun she sends the string of energy flying at her opponents.

Description: The bow strings mira-chan fires are fairly fast she can snap one off just about every time she closes her fingers. Saddly the bands are fairly weak in terms of power. They best damage they are capable of is a mild stinging sensation. The true danger of mira chan’s strings is that unlike normal quincy arrows, they linger. Each band that hits, sticks for the duration of the battle and provides a risk of catching on nearby objects. Each hit increases this probability by about 1%.

Looks: Mira-chan looks like a little girl using a rubber band gun when in battle with her foes

Techniques

Name: muimi gumu Nonsense gum
Description: Sometimes bands are not enough. When this happens Mira forms a ball of reiatsu in her mouth that she then takes out and places in her bow like a hornet in a rubber band gun. This ball if it hit’s splatters all over the opponent and locks into hard substance of pure reiatsu. Each ball is roughly 2 inches in diameter and splashes to cover a 5 inch diameter. This gum takes one post to harden and can be used to glue two things together.

Name: Muimi nankinhanabi Nonsense firecracker
Description: When faced with a more dangerous opponent Mira-chan is sometimes forced to use unpleasant amounts of force. She carries a pouch of Reitsu capsules with her that she can use in her bow. Each of these capsules is a roughly 1 inch long cylinder with fishhooks decorating the end like feathers on arrow. When fired at an opponent it begins to glow and emit blue sparks. 3 posts after firing the firecracker detonates in a 3 foot radius ball of spiritual energy that cause signfigant concsive damage and sends anyone caught in the blast flying.

Name: ichidaiji A serious affair
Description: Mira-chan is not all she appears to be. She is in fact a thirty seven year old quincy and not a 7 year old one. When pushed to her limits Mira can use the hidden potential that the bindings of soul society keep from her. Once per thread she may bend these barriers and take on the full right of her power. Mira transforms for three posts into a 5’7 mature raven haired woman. Whatever clothing she happens to be wearing will adjust to cover her, but not change in size. She loses 3 points of speed during this transformation but gains 5 points of accuracy. While in her adult form Mira can use any of her omoi techniques and her bow manifests as a ghostly glowing semi transparent 9mm pistol. In Ichidaji mode, her pistol shots slow down to only one per post, but the arrows they fire manifest as 1 wide beams of pure energy with sufficient force to punch holes in up to a foot of concrete.

Name: Omoi happa Severe blast
Description: Mira pulls out one of her signature firecrackers and places it in the barrel of her gun. Unlike the normal fizzing detonation the weapon uses all of the energy of the firecracker before it leaves the barrel. This causes the gun to glow with a blinding white light when she pulls the trigger and a cone of devastating power erupts out from the gun extending a full foot before it begins to flicker. Anything caught in the cone is held still and unable to move as it burns in the pure energy of the attack. One post after triggering the cone, the cone begins to flicker and then explodes in a 20 foot wide blast of concussive force that sends everything around it flying.

Description: Mira uses several firecracker capsules and throws them up. They then create a four point pyrimad of force that last 4 posts and seperates anything inside the barrier from everything outside of the barrier. This can

History and RP Sample

History: The soul society is an inherently conservative institution. Even when they decide to take the rashest actions available to them, they always like to leave a contingency plan. When they decided to wipe out the quincy, they of course understood that the quincy abilities could one day prove valuable. To preserve the knowledge several research projects were authorized, but in the event of soul society being unable to create a gigai capable of replicating the powers exhibited by the Quincy, they kidnapped one child that showed great potential and then locked her spiritual form and physical form with powerful binding kido. From that day forth Mira was perpetually trapped as a 7 year old until such time as the shinigami decided to use her either for her abilities, or as breeding stock for creating a new race of more controllable quincy.

Mira spent ten years in soul society as a practical prisoner of the shinigami. Sadly, soul society proved to be as impercise in it's paper work as it was conservative in its approach to things. At the age of 7, or seventeen from a subjective standpoint, Mira was mislabeled as a standard human soul and thrown out into the rukon district. There she struggled to live on whatever food she could scavenge as she begged borrowed and otherwise made do in the rough and tumble world or the soul society. It took mira thirteen years to finally sneak into a noble's manor and activate a gate between the soul society and the human realm.

In the realm of mortals Mira wandered as street urchin until being picked up by police and placed into a foster care system in the kankura town region. There she began going to school as a seven year old girl. Oddly the social workers for her case forgot to check up on her regularly enough to notice that she was failing to age. She is currently listed as a thirteen year old girl and goes to middle school. Whenever asked about her odd age she simply smiles and says Muimi and then walks away.

RP Sample: Mira was swinging her feet back and forth under her desk as the teacher came in. The good part about being a seven year old was never outgrowing school desks. Then again, the bad part was never outgrowing school. This year she was in a gifted program thanks to a combination of cheerful annoyance and high test scores. All of the other students in the Calculus class were highschoolers, but not her. Idly she began tracing a parabola on her paper. An understanding of calculus was necessary for a bow after all, her parents had taught her advanced balstics math when she actually was 7. Listening to it over again was boring, almost as boring as the dozens of times she'd heard similiar lectures from the departed on subjects ranging from kido to history. Was it possible for someone that had spent over a third of her life on the streets to be over educated?

"Yota muimi" she muttered to herself. Brooding was even more boring than studying math. With a brief giggle she let a reitsu band snap into the shin of a student several rows over. The band, invisible to the senses of a mortal whizzed through the air before hitting the student with a distinct 'spack' noise. "Pow pow" she giggled as the kid looked up from his work and shouted in shock at the sudden pain. The teacher looked back at the student with a disaprovign glare and then turned to his bored, er, Board, and began mumbling again. With a huff of disappointment Muri decided a nap was in order.
