Sector Divisions

First Division Sector

The First Division Sector is closest to the center of Soul Society in a place that is easily reachable to all the other divisions. It has one very large tower in which the Captain Commander's office is located. The entire place is decorated scarcely and gives off a very Regal aura.

Second Division Sector

The Second Division sector is one of the larger sectors as it has to hold the largest prison in Soul Society underground. The place is ornately decorated as it is run by the noble Inoue family. The entrance to the maggots nest is placed near a large rock and heavily guarded. A severe sense of order and discipline is given off here.

Third Division Sector

The Third Division sector is an average sector, nothing really stands out about it except the special trees planted by a previous captain. These trees add a small amount of beauty in an otherwise strictly business-like area.

Fourth Division Sector

The Fourth Division sector is rather large, having to accommodate a very large number of shinigami for each of its groups. The main barracks is also the main relief station, so it is many times larger than the average barracks. The area around is kept extremely clean to treat wounds, and because the cleaning group are part of the Fourth Division as well.

Fifth Division Sector

The Fifth Division sector houses both the Fifth Division and the Kido Corps, so most of the Fifth Squadron are very well rounded. The area itself is nothing special, but all the buildings seem to be raised to the second level, leading most to believe the buildings are much bigger than they actually are. The area gives off a very minimalistic feel.

Sixth Division Sector

The Sixth Division sector is also run by a noble family, and as such has a very extravagant layout. Most of the buildings are exceptionally made and beautiful despite the inside being a large amount of holding cells in which shinigami who break rules are placed. The area gives a strict rule oriented feel that makes most shinigami feel at home.

Seventh Division Sector

The Seventh Division sector is characterized by very large, stone-based buildings that reach into the sky. This is contrary to their actual job handling complaints and any chaos that arises in Soul Society. The area itself may look menacing, but the basic feeling people get upon entering is how annoyed most of the shinigami that tend to the trivial matters are.

Eighth Division Sector

The Eighth Division sector is another very large sector split up into different groups. These groups are split by what skill they are specifically proficient in; kido, offensive tactics, or defenses tactics. The streets are most lazy and curved fitting the slouching aura that the place gives off.

Ninth Division Sector

The Ninth Division sector is based on effectiveness. They are required to handle all Seireitei communications and also act as the Security Force. With this in mind, the buildings were designed simple and quickly traversable. The entire area gives off a feeling of duty and confidence in the power of Seireitei.

Tenth Division Sector

The Tenth Division sector is another sector built for effectiveness. The division has to work closely and communicate well with all the other squads, so quickness is a priority. The place is well designed and focused around a large building in the middle where all large battle planning goes on.

Eleventh Division Barracks

The Eleventh Division sector is the most lazily and roughly designed sectors of all, mirroring the rough and battle-oriented captain. The buildings are in shabby condition, but are still in very maintainable state and in no way about to collapse. The roads and buildings also are the dirtiest of Seireitei, the results of bullying the Fourth Division. The aura given off by the area surrounding barracks is almost suffocating.

Twelfth Division Sector

The Twelfth Division sector is possibly the strangest of the sectors. It is the home of the Research and Development Institute. The buildings are high tech, and seem strange to the rest of Soul Society. There are a few large buildings holding huge devices that only the captain of the Twelfth Division understands. People visiting the area have often herd weird sounds and felt strange vibrations coming from inside the compound.

Thirteenth Division Sector

The Thirteenth Division sector is an averagely made sector. There are a few rest places with small parks for shinigami to recover their minds and bodies. The true defining and unique attribute of this sector are its vast koi ponds featuring a wide variety of beautiful orange and white fish in a variety of spotted patterns.
