Quis custodiet ipsos custodes? (OTDM Raito vs. Keitaro)

Raito looked at the full moon that floated tranquily in the night sky. He was not anxious at all, as he was only battling someone at about half his power. The wind blew silently, as if waiting, no begging, for something to happen. This is it. Raito mentally prepared himself. This Vice-Captain had fouled him, made a mockery of him. Now it was time for him to pay. This Vice-Captain flaunted his so called power and used it to shame Raito on a very important mission. It was Keitaro. He had become corrupt with power. Raito had a saying he lived by, "Quis custodiet ipsos custodes?" Or, "Who guards the guardians?"

I do, he thought. And now, it is time for me to guard the guardians by cutting down one that has become corrupted. I wonder, how shall I make him die?

Keitaro jump from rooftops to rooftops as he travels the city of Karakura town. He was looking someone... someone very powerful. Then man was Wareru Raito Captain of Divisions 3. The captain had called on him to find him in the human world, most likely about the last mission that had went down. Keitaro himself saw no falt in it letting a few members of Division 3 die at the hands of hollows so the mission would be a succeed, but no the less he would answer anyone who would ask for a fight. As he made it to the outskirts of Karakura town he could feel the Spiritual Pressure, one to powerful to be a human or even a hollow. It must be him. "well well Captain Raito it good to see again" he said with a grin as he walk out from the shadows. "I hear you been looking for me. could it maybe be about what happen on the mission. I already told you I did what I felt was right"

"Feelings aside," said Raito. "That is no excuse for what you did. Have you no heart? A shinigami's duty is not to slay hollows, but preserve life in all forms, including fellow Shinigami. I will give you but one chance to repent, else I shall slay you without a regret. What say you?" Raito was angry and he didn't stop his killing intent from leaking out.

His Zanpakuto Spirit's were crying out for blood. Unleash me now and let me tear him limb from limb! shouted Kagirinai.

No! That is too good of a punishment! said Assarishta. Mentally destroy him! Humiliate him! Burn him! He is filth deserving of the worst death.

Let us hear his answer first, replied Raito wisely. I will not hesitate to slay him if he does not show remorse.

No emotion could be seen on his face as he thought about it or at least seem to thinking about it. once more he had called him out on it. It seem like such a easy answer. "I don't feel like I have any need to repent for anything that I have done. I made a choice the mission was successful, people died and life moves on. You should too." said in a cold voice as he walk around a bit taken in everything around him. He could tell that this Captain was one of the ones who would put his life on the lines for any of his man. Ha this was a joke to Keitaro. When in battle the only thing that matter was the succeed of the mission and the death of the enemy.

"Your very existence sickens me. Light upon the Heavens scream, divinty of the High. Help me in my time of need, smite my opponent from the sky! Ferocity of God, haste of speed, upon my will, banish him from this realm! Hadou number 94: Solestial Divinity!" Raito chanted. He will die in this battle. Of this, I will make sure.


Description: Thunderbolts crack down from the sky and are aimed at your opponent. There are five thunderbolts in total. They are fast, but not extremely powerful. If one hits, the opponent feels slight pain. If two hits, then the opponent feels moderate pain. If three hits, then the opponent will feel agonizing pain. If four hit, then the opponent will be paralysed for 5 seconds. If all five hit, the opponents nervous system goes into disarry for two posts.

Keitaro begin to rub the back of his head This guy is really is for reals. he sigh once before looking up "I guess I'm not going to be able to talk my way out of this one.... oh well" he said ending it with a smile as the saw Raito ready a Kido. Solestial Divinity isn't that... he though to himself as he felt a sharp pain run in his body a thunderbolt hit his body " aw damn it" he yelled as he jump bad in time for the second one to miss. "Kido 15: White Lightning Chain" Keitaro yelled out as he Fires a stream of electricity at the incoming Thunderbolt, with out the spell the kido did nothing but slow down the bolt to give him time to get around them.

Raito used Shunpo's towards Keitaro and brings his swords down upon his head. This is too easy. Not only will he block this, but soon, I will be able to win! After a block, I Shunpo around him and unleash my shikai and go from there. He won't be able to negate my shikai ability as he doesn't have enough reitsu (look at my app for Kagirinai's shikai ability)!

Yes! Perfect! agreed Kagirinai. This will be perfect for this scum!

Keitaro drew his sword and clash it with Raito blade crossing them "It seem that you are in a hurry to end this fight. You need to slow down and enjoy it. It not every day to get to fight someone you truly hate" he said with a wide grin. As he use Shunpo away and appear about Raito holding his hand out "Lord, the shattered vault! Pale the midnight rose. Silver rain, broken sky. Sigh the man's cry in the deep sepulchre of cowards. Carry the arched fool to the gates of torn hearts! Kido 56: White Lightning Fury"

Raito held his hand up and charged reitsu into it. All of the lightning hit it. He only grunted. His hand was still movable and only hurt a little. "This is our difference in power. Now I will kill you! I am not here to enjoy myself but merely to purify your corrupted soul. Now! In the fog of war, in the fear of flight, let those who falter behold this sight. So that they might regain their fight. In your darkest hour… Shine forth, hope's light! Assarishta!

"At the end of days, at the end of time, all the living will bear their crime. Let all those who may hear this rhyme, fall from our power, dark be sublime! Kagirinai!" Raito chanted. He decided to use Shunpo and directly engage Keitaro in a sword fight. This is only the beginning.

Keitaro stair down at Raito from above it appear that he had decided to Released Zanpakuto. "no time to enjoy yourself. tis tis that sad, to battle and not enjoy it" said with a somewhat sad look as he held his sword out in front of himself " well then if that how you want it I will just have to show you how much fun you can have in a battle for your life. I believe it is time to die..... Masamune Strike" he said as the the Zanpoakuto begin to grow and then shot off like a bullet down at Raito.

Raito used his superior Shunpo to dodge the whiplilke sword and move straight towards its user. Crap, Kagirinai. Your ability would only work at the hilt! He came right up in front of Keito and tried to knock his sword out of the way and tried to send a cutting wave at him. This won't be easy to dodge. The only thing he could do would be to drop down and hope that he gets away from my cut at full power...

Keitaro had no where to go but down as the wave came at him. As he did so he pull back on his hilt for his blade would return faster. Just in time his blade return to help block the wave as it push him back all the way back to the ground. man I do not need to get hit by that at full power I may not be able to stop it he though to himself as he lunch his blade up at Raito once more but this time moving the blade much faster. As the blade shot up at Raito raise his free hand up to his mouth in ready for a Kido "Mournful spirit, pierce thine ears, unbearable is the sound of your sorrow! Kido 46: Banshee's Cry"

Banshee Cry: A high pitched shriek, of which only the specified opponent can hear, blocks their hearing. This would merely cause a very painful, but not life threatening, distraction or even nerve damage (shaking, stuttering, twitching, decreased speed, ect.) to a powerful enemy. Anyone such as a human or weak Hollow it may force them to pass out, make their ears bleed giving them permanent deafness, or major nerve damage.

Raito was in pain, emmense pain, but he refused to show it. Thankfully, he didn't recieve any damage to his systems other than that pain. He looked down and pitied the poor fool. He set out another two energy waves, making it so that the Vice-Captain would have to move. Raito charged up his Kido and threaded a 2 yard diameter around him, making it so that all he had to do was lure him in and finish him off.

Description: The user webs their reitsu around a certain area and whomever gets caught (captain, arrancar, espada, bount) in it they're caught and are trapped for one post. The area of the net depends on how much reitsu you put into it.

Keitaro grin even though the Captain didn't show it, he know he had to be feeling some of the pain. He begin pulling the blade back to him as he ready himself for another attack, but as the blade return it slowly began to vibrate in his hand. Da Ji what is it. Can't you see that I'm in the middle of something Keitaro ask as he kelp his eyes on Raito. All I see is you losing she said with a heavy sigh You need to pay more attention to your enemy you fool. Keitaro only smile as he heard this Oh Da Ji I didn't know you care for me that much he said in a little mocking way. I DON'T CARE ABOUT YOU. YOU STUPID FOOL, IF YOU DIE SO DO I she yelled inside his head to the point he had to grab it to it from stacking. "well thinks for the love I guess I'll try something new" said to himself just as he noticed the two energy waves coming at him. He quickly use Shunpo away from the waves and appearing on the others side of the waves as he raised his sword and lunch a attack at Raito.

Raito grinned. "Wrong choice!" He instantly used Shunpo to avoid the long range attack. This was his weakness! He would never be able to recover fast enough. He was done for! Riato appeared right in front of Keitaro and said, "You are finished!" He sent an energy cut at point plank range. It would take an immense amount of skill to dodge this, but Raito was confident that the blow would strike.

A look of shock was on Keitaro face as he saw Raito appear in front and lunch his Energy cut at him. As the wave hit him, it slash from his stomach up across his chest to it top. As Keitaro begin to fall backward his body slowly begin to fade away as if it was never there. From behind Raito a small growl could be seen. Keitaro had just escape the wave just in time using Hemeras Sonido, but along the front of his chest a light cut could be seen as it slowly begin to bleed. that was way too close. If I didn't use Hemeras that could have killed me he thought to himself as he charge up the Kidos in his hand. "well you may have underestimated me just a little. Kido 72: Strike of Light" he said as he lunch at Raito.

That was the stupidest thing I've ever seen. He shouldn't have attacked me, a Captain, with a simple thrust. This kid is beyond annoyance. This time, it won't miss. This time it's the end... Raito had deduced.

Keitaro could not use Hemeras after using it so soon. Thinking quickly Keitaro did what he could. Using the force from the first attack Keitaro lunch out with a kick at Raito face. Then using the movement to spin as he slam his leg down on his arm hoping to loosen his grasp.
