Two Paths Cross, The Never Ending Rivalry Begins [Haburi Only]
The gate between the two worlds opened, and the blinding white light cast itself upon the shadows of the darkened forest. However, no one was seen stepping in our stepping out. It looked as if the gate had accidentally malfunctioned or something, and was opening and closing on its own. However, this was not the case. Even though he was not seen, Dios did in fact use this gate. He had been assigned a special mission out here, but no one was to know about it. So, he was utilizing the stealth skills he had learned before becoming a full fledged captain, as well as those his expert speed provided. He was able to blend with the shadows and escape the view of anyone that might see the gate. He was in fact, crouching on a branch on the closest tree, watching the gate close to make sure no one followed him. When it closed successfully, and without any problems, he started looking around to make sure there was no one in the vicinity. He let out a quick breath, and jumped down from the branch. He landed on a forest path, and started walking down it.
What was his mission you might ask? Dios honestly did not know why it had to be kept so secret, but he did not question it. His mission was to track down and destroy a powerful hollow. It was said to be an Adjuchas that would soon become a Vasto Lord. He had two ideas as to why he was picked, and they both went with each other. 1. He was now known as the most capable captain in dealing with powerful hollow like Vasto Lord. He was sent because it was dangerously close to becoming one. 2. The fact that this hollow even existed wasnt very well known to anyone. They wanted this hollow taken out swiftly and quietly, without anyone knowing anything about it, and being the captain of the stealth squad, he was obviously the first pick. His thoughts only went about that far on the matter, he knew what his mission was and he knew he couldnt ask questions. On his face was his battle expression. Even though he hadnt engaged anyone in battle, he still acted as if he had. He usually did this whenever he was doing something that required a large amount of stealth.
Then, he caught it. He could feel the hollows very life force now, thanks to the fact that he was part hollow. It would be easy to track him down. If he had the ability, he would be able to communicate with the hollow, and it would probably think he was a hollow as well. Alas, he did not have such an ability yet. He did hope that maybe his powers would make an advancement, and he would be able to do this. He started walking towards the hollows location. It did not take long to reach the hollow, and it wasnt even moving either. It just sat there like an idiot dumbstruck by simple math. Luckily, its back was to him. Dios took a deep breath, and initiated his complete stealth sequence. This was something NO ONE had ever seen before. This was simply because they could not see it. He wasnt wearing his captains robe, and he wasnt wearing the standard Shinigami robes either. Instead, he wore something that was like the Shinigami's robes, but not exactly the same. The clothing clung to him, and the sleeves ran the length of his arms. What he was able to do was almost become one with the shadows. He crept forward, silently, and completely unseen. Even his deadly intent was unnoticeable now.
He crept towards the hollow, and reached him successfully. He drew his Zanpakuto, and held it out in front of him. He was practically breathing down the hollows neck now, yet it was still unaware of him. Dios took a silent breath, and raised Kansen up. The very second before he swung down the fatal blow, he became visible again. It was at this instant that he felt the presence of someone else, but he didnt care, he brought down his blade with as much force as he could, aiming to kill this hollow with one fell swing.

Re: Two Paths Cross, The Never Ending Rivalry Begins [Haburi Only]
Haburi had been ready cooped up in his room and was finally let out. He was told that it was time for him to move out and find yet another Hollow that might be worthy of becoming an Arrancar and maybe even an Espada. Although from the reading he was doing on the particular hollow, the Hollow seemed to be pretty much ready to become a Vasto Lorde, and its caution level was decently high. Haburi knew that this would be no threat to him what so ever, but he was actually pretty excited that he was going to finally be back in action after killing that other captain a while ago, and taking the Vasto Lorde Longmaul back to Las Noches and in the safe keeping of Niamo and the two Espada that they already had. Haburi walked out of his room and grinned, he walked down the long hallway passing Niamo and nodding as he made his way down to Kaito's room forgetting that Kaito had been gone. Kaito was always better at opening the portal to the human world than Haburi which was why he was going to ask him to do it for him.
Figuring out that it was simply no use, he walked back down to the middle of the hallway and stuck his arms out. Moments later, a small portal opened that Haburi probably wouldn't be able to fit through opened. He sighed and put more of his energy into it, then barley slipping through what he could manage to come up with and reaching the real world. He looked around and could sense the hollows reiatsu. He took off quickly, for the hollow was decently far away. He was ready for a little something special. He thought about whether he could just get away with killing the Hollow and saying that it was already gone by the time that he got there. He knew that Niamo would see right through that lie, but he probably wouldn't really care about it. Still, if he did kill the hollow that would just be more work for him that he didn't really need. Plus it would take up more unnessescary time for them while they had to wait for their plans to come into motion. Haburi sighed as he started to get close. The moment he did, he felt the presence of another, what felt like a Shinigami.
Simply because of the reiatsu level, Haburi figured that this particular shinigami would be no problem for him to handle. However he felt the reiatsu coming closer and closer to the area that the hollow was in and if Haburi was underestimating this shinigami then the Hollow could possibly be dead, meaning coming there would have been a waste of Haburis time and energy. Not like it mattered, Haburi was just happy to get out and now he would be even happier. He would get to kill someone. He used shunpo to start getting there faster, he could feel the Shinigami was moving in just as quick. He saw that the Adjuchas was right infront of him, but also the Shinigami was moving in. The shinigami had unshealted his zanpakuto, and was ready about to move in with it for a fatal attack on the hollow. Haburi knew that he couldn't let that happen. He quickly unshealthed his own sword and moved over to them with quick speed. As the Shinigami's zanpakuto was coming down, Haburi blocked it with Shinsou, making a large clash. Haburi knew that this Shinigami was alot stronger than he let off to be, and he was just going to have to push him to see how far that he could go. Still, he wasn't worried.
As they both stood there with there zanpakuto's clashed. Haburi grabbed ahold of the hollow with one hand and then made his reiatsu rise, sending Haburi and the hollow back a few yards and the Shinigami back a few feet in the other direction. He grinned for a second, he couldn't recongnize just who this Shinigami was exactly, but he was going to make sure that he did. His eyes were squinted and he had a smirk on his face, the facial expression that creeped everyone he ever met out. He was going to act as if he didn't want to fight, but he really did want too. He wanted to throw the other guy off just by saying it. "Leave now, and I won't follow." He stated. "You don't have to die today."

Re: Two Paths Cross, The Never Ending Rivalry Begins [Haburi Only]
Dios felt something blocking his blade, blocking him from killing this hollow, blocking him from achieving his mission. He looked closer, and his eyebrows slanted in a look of confusion, yet looked like an angered look at the same time. What he saw puzzled him, another shinigami stopping him? That didnt seem to make sense to him. Suddenly, a huge reitsu was released, and he went sliding back a little bit. The man now had the hollow in his hands, which he couldnt let slide. He looked at the man with his look unchanged. It still held that of the deadliest intent. He was staring at the man as if he was targeting the very thing that kept him together. His look did not affect him either. Looks never did affect him, not looks like those anyway. He still stood there, completely silent as the stench of an oncoming death seemed to taint the air, his hair shadowing most of his face. When he finally spoke, his voice was serious and commanding. "I'm afraid I cant do that" He saw past the mans look, he knew he wanted a fight, he could see it in his eyes. He assumed that he almost always had this look, trying to play mind games with people, but he saw the real demon behind him.
Suddenly, without any warning, he shot forward. Kansen was then in his left hand, and he was holding it a little loosely. He sped forward at speeds so quick, he seemed to be in front of him in the blink of an eye. He swung Kansen to his left, which would be coming towards the mans right side. His intention was for this man to block the attack to his right, and when he did, he would reach with his free hand towards his neck. If he got a hold of his neck, he would trow him to the ground. From there, if he still had his sword in hand, he would start slicing him while he was trying to get off the ground.

Re: Two Paths Cross, The Never Ending Rivalry Begins [Haburi Only]
Haburi saw the man take off at extreme speeds. His eyes opened for a mere second and then quickly went back to normal. As he saw an incoming attack coming for him, with that he jumped back several feet away, he knew that it would take a little bit of time to analyss the man's abilities. For he didn't expect he would be so fast. His smirk wasn't on his face, for he needed to act seriously here. He suddenly recognized who the man was and it all made sense from there. This man was Dios Lio, The Captain of the Second Division. Haburi had read files on all of the current captains, there was little to nothing that was known about this one though. However, what was known was that this man was a Vizard. He grinned for a second, fighting a Captain at this high of a level meant for him that he might actually even have to release his zanpakuto, which he hadn't had to do in a long time. The thought of a good fight was exciting for him.
"It seems I underestimated you." he stated, his zanpakutou was unshealted. He wanted to finish it quickly, he didn't have time to mess around. Niamo was very displeased when Haburi made him wait. "However." He stated and then motioned his head up. No longer squinting his eyes nor smirking. "I'll have to finish you quickly." He said. "Wake from your slumber and become whole, destroy those who you depise. Rid the world of the weak and show that your awakening revenge bears no fail, Forbidden Hadou, Mugoi Nenshou" he said, finishing his incantation. After that, a huge wave of slim came out of his mouth and straight for Dios at high speeds. When the slim made contact on Dios, it would explode. There was a large amount of it, therefore Haburi was sure that at the very least enough would land on his opponent to take a limb from him, but he still wasn't underestimating him. He figured that Dios had some kind of way to avoid this. However, Dios probably wouldn't know what the slim did once it got on him.

Re: Two Paths Cross, The Never Ending Rivalry Begins [Haburi Only]
Dios was still dashing forward after his opponent jumped away. He said nothing and made no gesture when he started to speak, however he did come to a stop. He stood completely straight, and held Kansen at his side. He looked directly at the man with a look of no sympathy or mercy. He had the hollow, and he guessed he wouldnt be able to kill it until this man was taken out. He didnt have much time, so that meant he would also have to end this quickly. One eyebrow was raised when the large amount of slim was fired at him, yet he still did not move. He stood there like a statue while the slim came directly for him. Just as it was almost upon him, he whispered something "I'll be the one finishing this quickly" was what he said, yet it was doubtful that his opponent heard him. He bent over very slightly, and the slim appeared to hit him. It all exploded in a giant force, and a black like energy with a blue outline was seen disappearing in the sky. When all the dust cleared, Dios was nowhere to be seen. There was no indication that he had ever been there. All was silent, not a noise was heard, except for the gentle breeze of the wind. Not even Dios's reitsu could be sensed. For all Haburi probably knew, he was dead.
Then suddenly, Dios appeared directly behind Haburi as if he had teleported. Giving the man very little reaction time, perhaps none, depending on how quick the man was himself. His sword was drawn, and he threw it forward at such speeds that the blade looked like nothing but a blur. His mask was also on. Kansen was heading directly towards the backside of the mans heart at speeds to fast to understand, to a normal Shingami at least. Depending on the level of him, which was still undetermined he might even be able to match this speed, the blade was also coated with the masks energy as it flew forward, giving it an extra power boost.. Dios had done this rather simply. When the slim was almost upon him, he put on his mask and swung his sword up. A large wall of the masks energy materialized and solidified quickly, which was what the slim had exploded on. In the midst of the explosion, he used his shunpo, which combined with his mask made him to fast to see without extremely trained eyes, and darted far to the right. So far, that he couldnt be seen. Just in case though, he used a technique he had learned while he was an outcast to lower his reitsu so that it was unnoticeable, even with his mask on. Then, he started running upwards. Once he went a few yards, he used shunpo again to seemingly 'teleport' behind Haburi, then thrust his blade forward.

Re: Two Paths Cross, The Never Ending Rivalry Begins [Haburi Only]
Haburi made a 'hmph' sound along with a smirk as the many was closing in on him with extremely fast speeds. The guy was alot faster than Haburi had anticipated, and with that he jumped up in the air to avoid the zanpakutou and landed on top of it for a split second. With that, he did a backflip over his enemy and back a few yards away behind him as if it was nothing, however it took an extremely large toll on him to get away from it at that speed. He had noticed the blue energy that had been shot out, and he was one person that could appriciate an ability such as that one. This guy was also extremely fast, having a speed that Haburi probably wouldn't really be able to keep up with for too long. He thought about releasing his zanpakuto, but instead wanted to wait untill the guy would tire from using his Hollow mask. He had never really been in a serious battle with a Vizard before, so it was a true honor for him. "Finish me off quickly?" he asked retorically.
He then proceeded to lift his zanpakuto into the air. "Cero...no Joukai." He said and then swung it down as a huge blast of Purple Cero shot out from his zanpakuto and straight for his opponent. The special ability of his zanpakuto when it was unreleased was the ability to shoot Cero, and not just any Cero, A cero that had was plainly as strong as Gran Rey Cero, which made it definitly dangerous. He stood with a smirk as the large bright purple blast made its way to his opponent at extremely fast speeds. He however knew that even though this blast was extremely powerful, the fight would not be over. Not with the speed of his opponent, probably not by a long shot.

Re: Two Paths Cross, The Never Ending Rivalry Begins [Haburi Only]
Dios grimaced slightly when the man jumped up on his blade, and back flipped behind him. He had clearly underestimated his speed. This was very bad for him, because he had been moving at his maximum speed at that moment, and he couldnt keep that up for very long, and not just because his mask had a limited time. This was obviously bad, as he would not be able to catch him with speed alone, he would have to use tactics. He was breathing heavily now, a little out of breath, but still fully functional. It was at that moment that he saw the oddly colored Cero coming directly at him at fast speeds. 'What next?' he thought, which was something he rarely did in a battle. It was huge, to big for a normal Cero. He wouldnt be able to block this alone. So, he did the only thing he could. He ran to the left to get out of the way. Of course, this would LOOK a lot more impressive what he was actually doing. Yet, his speed was slightly tainted with fatigue, so he wasnt able to completely escape the blast. His right foot was caught, but it didnt seem too. He stopped for a moment, and pain shot through his body when he put his foot down and rested on it.
He knew he couldnt charge the man anymore, not blindly at least, he was a little to fast for that. So instead, he decided he would wait for his opponent to attack. He lifted up Kansen and held him up defensively. He waited in this position for his attack, waiting to counterattack or dodge if he shot some kind of projectile again.

Re: Two Paths Cross, The Never Ending Rivalry Begins [Haburi Only]
What happened was exactly what Haburi had expected. He knew that his opponent was fast enough, however he also knew that his opponent wouldn't be able to move out of the way in the wide range of his attack completley. He saw that he was very much effected, and he wanted to finish it, however he wasn't ready to release his zanpakuto. The man's abilities were great, but he could tell that he was tiring, therefore unless he had some kind of trump card hidden, there was no need for Haburi to release his zanpakuto anymore simply because this man didn't worry him anymore. However he wasn't going to underestimate him either, he would make sure that he was cautionous and careful with his next move. The grin came back onto his face, he was ready to try out his ultimate Kido. This Kido was what made Haburi the famous captain that he was, therefore his opponent would probably know who he was once he saw the technique. This particular technique was known only to him and always caught his opponents, however he knew with this mans capabilities he might beable to avoid them. He was caught in Haburi's blast, meaning his movements would be slower than before, but he would still probably be quick.
"Rise and Capture, Seal the Unworthy, Kusari no Itami." He finished as large chains of light came up from the ground and were headed straight for his opponent. The chains were that of blue energy and were extremely bright. Haburi smirked, for he always caught his opponents with this one. If he did catch his opponent, it would be game over, his opponent wouldn't be able to fight anymore. His opponent would also be completley helpless to his mercy, but Haburi didn't see fit to kill him even if he captured the man.

Re: Two Paths Cross, The Never Ending Rivalry Begins [Haburi Only]
Dios knelt to the ground. He knew this was almost over, and he had only one hope of defeating this man, and it would only work once. While his opponent stood, he knelt, while the grin returned, he knelt, right before he made his move, he still knelt. To him, it probably looked like he was to tired to go on now. This wasnt the case. He was feigning fatigue on purpose while he stored and channeled his energy. While he knelt there, pretending to be finished, he channeled everything into this last attack. All of his energy, all of his strength, everything. This attack would be explosive, it might even wipe him out if it hit directly. He breathed slowly and carefully as he did this. Then, the man started his Incantation. When he said 'Kusari', Dios shot off so fast he created a sonic boom. He was in front of his enemy in an instant, and swung at him the second he was there. His eyes were closed now for some reason, and he heard a 'Clang!' sound like metal hitting metal. Then, there was a giant explosion. Dios had his eyes open now, but he couldnt see anything that was happening because of the explosion in front of him. He didnt know if Haburi had blocked, if he had been hit, or what, but it didnt matter now. His mask started falling off in chips, and then as one whole piece. He was now literally and completely exhausted. His eyes were heavy, and there was a smile on his face. He ASSUMED that he had hit his target, and felt victory swell through him. He was just started to fall to the ground, when suddenly blue chains started to swirl around him, and they bounded him unmovable. He was stuck standing up, but he still managed to hunch a little. He was now completely stuck

When he saw a blast coming towards him, he knew that he had but one thing that would let him easily get out of his, he didn't say it very loud, however it might not have been well known what he had done to avoid the attack anyway. He stuck his zanpakutou out and began to flow energy through it, he began to spin it as the attack made its crash course hitting his spinning zanpakutou sending little shots of his opponents blast in all different directions. It took a pretty big toll out of him because he began to pant a little bit, after that he kept his cool looking over at his opponent who was now trapped and immobilized. He slowly walked over to the man with a smirk on his face, the right thing to do would be to kill the guy right then and there. To save him from humilation. However, Haburi wasn't in the mood to take a man's life, especially this particular one considering this guy had potiential to become a true match for Haburi. Instead he slowly continuted his little walk over to the man, squinted and smirked. The Chains were sucking up is opponents reiatsu, and there was no way out of the chains. "I aint in the mood to kill ya, im sorry." he said lifting up his zanpakuto and then thrusting it down into the mans chest. It would leave him almost dead, but the guy would possibly die considering the energy he lost. However, Haburi refused to take the finishing blow. Instead he just walked away and back over to the hollow he was sent for. "You're justa shame, not even powerful enough to serve under Niamo." he stated and then raced over to the hollow thrusting his blade into the hollows head, killing him. "Thanks for the fun." He stated and then dissapeared into the Garganta.

Dios didnt even make a facial expression as the sword was thrown into his chest. He watched the man walk away, kill the hollow, and disappear into some kind of portal. HE slowly fell to the ground, the chains still keeping him immobile. He was completely out of energy, and wouldnt barely be able to move even if the chains werent present. He laid there as the life was slowly being poured out from the hole in his chest. He could slowly feel death taking him, and he could do nothing about it. He didnt even think about his failure much. He just laughed as blood started gathering in his mouth. 'I guess I'm not cut out to be a Shinigami after all' he thought. 'I would say I let everyone down.....but I guess I never even had them up.' He closed his eyes as the last bits of life left his body, and the last thing his mind went to, was Rose. He smiled when he thought of her. He sent a silent prayer, something he had grown weary of its uselessness, thanking Rose for being there for him. Even in the short time they were together, everything had been wonderful. He stopped thinking, and lay still.......until he died.
"What do you think your doing, huh?" A familiar voice, and a familiar face slowly stopped his decent into the warm embrace of a second death. "Your just going to give up like that? Your pathetic!" It was his inner hollow. You always were weak, but I never thought you were this weak! Losing to someone like Haburi....." So that was his name. I guess theres no avoiding it. I'll give you power, I'll give you the power to destroy him. But you have to earn it. Your first step is getting out of these chains, and getting your pathetic, whimpering little ass back to Soul Society" Suddenly, he was hit with a sudden surge of energy that seemed to dull out all pain of the stab. It coursed through his veins, and all throughout him. His eyes shot open, and even though his mask wasnt on, he had the eyes of a hollow. The energy exploded out of him in a giant white pillar, and when it cleared out, Dios was standing up in the middle of where it was, his wound seemingly healed, and Kansen in his hand. "Alright Dios. Dont go thinking I'm going to save you like this every time you die. This is a one time thing, and its not going to happen again." The hollow said, and its presence faded. Just as soon as it had gone, the energy faded. Dios was suddenly very weak, but the pain in his chest was gone. He could still walk however. Then, another voice spoke to him. "Dios....Right now, the only chance you have at defeating Haburi is to gain your Bankai. Return to Soul Society, and start training for it. When the time is right, I will appear again, and give you your test. Right now however, you are not ready. Train hard." This time, it was Kansen who had spoke to him. Yet, he was suddenly gone as well. Dios opened up a gate back to Soul Society, and slowly started his walk through. Now he had a mission, he had a goal, and he had a rival. He would gain his Bankai, and he would use it to destroy Haburi.
