Amarillo Difuminar [Espada Segundo] (Complete)
Basic Information
Name: Amarillo Difuminar
Age: 2,000
Gender: Male
Rank: Espada
Number: 2
Looks: Amarillo's physical appearance is like that of a thin, 6 foot tall man in 20's with piercing yellow eyes and a well-trimmed goatee. His physique is like that of a runner, designed for speed and stamina over power. He can always be seen wearing an unzipped brown bomber jacket, a throwback to his love of flying as a human, fatigue pants, and brown combat boots. Amarillo's Zanpakuto hangs off his left hip, angled forward for ease of drawing with a moment's hesitation.
No matter the situation, Amarillo locks his focus on the current speaker or enemy with laser-like intensity, antenna twitching in response to any sudden movements from his current focus. Expression-wise, Amarillo tends to favor his fellow Espada with a open grin and weaker Arrancar/Hollow with a benevolent grin. When confronted by humans or Shinigami, Amarillo favors a derisive smirk.
Alignment: Neutral Evil
Hollow Hole: Located where his belly button would be, mostly covered by his pants.
Mask Fragment: The remains of Amarillo's Hollow mask cover his head similar to a helmet, and have the appearance of a hornet's head, complete with antenna extending up and forward from his head.
Number Tattoo: Amarillo has his tattoo on the center of his chest and proudly displays it for all to see.
Personality: Amarillo's outlook on life is that of a mighty predator: prey he finds delicious is hunted and consumed as he wishes. Long since having moved beyond consuming normal human souls and his fellow Hollows, Amarillo only deigns the souls of exception humans (such as the Quincy) worthy of being consumed by him. Following his declaration of allegiance to Traca Carmesim and appointment as the Segundo Espada, Amarillo has adopted the belief that stronger Hollows should protect those weaker than themselves, similar to a king and his subjects.
Loyalty is something that Amarillo feels only the strong are owed, and this is one of the main reasons that he willingly follows Traca. Anyone that tries to give him an order that Amarillo views as weaker than himself is summarily ignored. Punishment of subordinates in Amarillo's mind is best handled the old fashioned way: a good beating, the severity depending on the transgression.
Once he enters into combat with an enemy, Amarillo attacks with a feral grin on his face, pressing his attack mercilessly until no spark of life remains in their broken bodies. Depending on how strenuous the battle was, he may consume their spiritual body/soul to recover some of the energy he expended. Amarillo never stands still in battle, constantly dodging and weaving, never closing for more than the time it takes him to land an attack and then back away. Aware of the fact that individuals working in concert can get more done than an individual, Amarillo has no problem fighting alongside his fellow Arrancar and Hollows. Retreating is something Amarillo only does when things have turned decidedly against him.
Weapon Information
Weapon Name: Fuerte Aguijón (Sharp Stinger)
Weapon Looks:
Weapon Description: When sealed, Amarillo's blade responds like a perfectly balanced weapon, allowing him to wield it like it was an extension of his own arm. Channeling reiatsu into the blade causes a crackling yellow aura to form around it, causing the blade's outline to waver in a similar manner to heat coming off a roadway in the middle of summer. This combined with Amarillo's incredible speed and reflexes makes evading and parrying his attacks a difficult proposition. As is standard for the blades of Espada, Amarillo's is easily capable of clashing with the normal and Shikai forms of Shinigami Zanpakuto without any threat of damage. Bankai forms are far more dangerous, and can shatter the blade if they clash too many times. This rarely occurs, since Amarillo tends to immediately go into Resurrecion upon seeing a Shinigami enter Bankai.
Resurrecion Release Phrase: "Pierce and consume, Fuerte Aguijón!"
Resurrecion Information
Name: Avispa Rey (Hornet King)
Represent: Hornet
Family: Wind
Looks: In his Resurrecion Form, Amarillo has regained many of the insect features lost in his ascension to Arrancar. The remnants of the Hollow mask on Amarillo's head take on the coloring and appearance of a hornet's head while shifting down to replace his normal eyes with the compound eyes of an insect, and his shoulders swell and take on the appearance of bee hives. From his back sprout a huge pair of insect wings and a large hornet stinger easily the length of a human arm extends from his lower back. The rest of his body is covered in an exoskeleton similar to a hornet's.

History:
Descent into Darkness
For his entire life as a human, Amarillo Difuminar adored flying. As a baby, his father entertained him for hours on end with paper airplanes. As a child, he loved flying kites and remote controlled planes and helicopters. When he was finally old enough to apply for and receive his pilot's license, Amarillo learned what paradise must feel like as he soared among the clouds. Realizing he had found his calling, Amarillo began working for his father's small but lucrative chartered plane service, and quickly became the top pilot there. Life would have been perfect for Amarillo, but unfortunately for him, his father's business attracted the attention of the ruthless CEO of a major airplane company that was interested in opening routes in that area.
When Amarillo's father refused the CEO's initial offer, stating the company wasn't up for sale, the CEO resorted to underhanded tactics. On a standard trip that he had flown thousands of times before, Amarillo's plane crashed into the ground, killing all 30 passengers aboard and himself. In the following investigation it was found that Amarillo had done drugs and been drinking beforehand, or at least that was what the CEO made it look like after sabotaging the plane. Despite the testimony of Amarillo's father, the courts found that Amarillo was at fault, and that gave the CEO the opportunity to take the company. It was then with steadily increasing horror that the newly earthbound spirit of Amarillo, unwilling to leave the company he loved, watched as that very company ceased to exist. Broken by the loss of his beloved son and company, Amarillo's father lost the will to live and soon died as well. With nothing left to anchor his humanity, Amarillo allowed his soul chain to break and corrode, transforming him into a Hollow.
Aerial Hunter
With the remnants of his humanity cast off and the mantle of a Hollow donned, Amarillo could not help but gaze in awe at the new form his body had taken on: that of a huge hornet. With an unrestrained buzz of glee, Amarillo shot straight into the sky, nothing between him and the wild blue yonder he so adores. This could not last however, and Amarillo's revelry was interrupted by a hunger so crushing that he nearly fell clear from the sky. After managing to bring his flight under control, Amarillo set off in gleeful pursuit of the thing he instinctively knew would sate the hunger gnawing at him: a human soul, and he knew exactly the one. In short order the CEO had been located, consumed, and the feeling of stark horror conveyed to Amarillo as he feasted more than satisfied any lingering desire for revenge he had.
Still hungry, Amarillo set off across the world, and soon came to see how widely in taste and content the souls he consumed varied. At first ripping the souls from unsuspecting humans proved to be enough to temporarily silence the ever present hunger within him, but he quickly outgrew such paltry prey and has no choice but to locate another source. The souls of recently dead humans and ones that had remained on earth became Amarillo's next target, and he quickly learned that a little properly applied terror before consumption increased the soul's flavor immensely. It was in the course of hunting his newest source of food that Amarillo encountered his first Shinigami and nearly lost his life.
Amarillo thought little of the unsuspecting man wearing plain black clothes standing on the building as he approached, seeing only the richest looking soul he'd yet come across. A split second's hesitation on Amarillo's part saved his life however, and the slash that would have cut his mask in half, merely chopped off several of his legs. Screeching in pain and now well aware of the threat before him, Amarillo launched into battle with the first person to injure him. The ensuing battle was hard fought and nearly ended poorly several times, but with his strength as a Hollow and more than a little luck, Amarillo was able to kill and consume his first Shinigami. It was like taking a bite of prime cut steak after eating dog food his whole life as Amarillo claimed his hard won prize. Filled to near bursting with such a exquisite soul, Amarillo soon found his tastes turning in another direction: towards his fellow Hollows.
No longer bothered by such trivial things as the thought of committing cannibalism, Amarillo took to tracking down and eating other Hollows with the same savage passion as he had human souls. Far more capable than his initial targets, Amarillo came to realize that having to subdue his prey before consuming it made the reward at the end oh so much sweeter. Each consumed Hollow increased Amarillo's strength further, incorporating that Hollow's spirit into Amarillo's. Long after losing track of the Hollows he had consumed, Amarillo's head had become so fulls of voices that he felt his identity start slipping away from him. Before that could happen though, Amarillo crossed the critical point and underwent his second great change. His spiritual flesh flowing like water, Amarillo's form swelled and shifted, leaving him a massive hornet the size of a 747.
Sky King
Finding that he could force the myriad of voices in his head down, Amarillo found the human world no longer held any interest to him. Drawing upon his newly expanded abilities, Amarillo reach out with a massive leg, and with a simple gesture cut space itself open, watching in surprise as a huge gap similar to a creature's maw opened. Stepping inside and following the path before him, Amarillo soon found himself in the endless deserts of Hueco Mundo. Still plagued by the desire to consume his kin, Amarillo set out across the dunes in search of his next meal.
Quickly discarding the idea of hunting down simple Hollows one at a time, Amarillo sought out advanced Hollows such as himself, and eventually found his way to what he later learned is called the Menos Forest. Here were all the gigantic Hollows Amarillo could want, and his time there flew by in a blur of endless combat and feasting. After consuming countless more Hollow, Amarillo found he had hit another critical point, and instead of ballooning even further in size, his form shrunk significantly. Now even smaller than his original form, Amarillo could scarcely believe the extent to which his power had grown, indicated by the contemptuous ease which which he could now defeat and consume his massive prey.
Insect Tyrant
Realizing his latest leap in power had put Amarillo's previous prey below his notice, he went in search of new prey, finding it in the form of Hollows similar to him in size and power scattered across the ever shifting sands. Centuries passed unaware to Amarillo as he tirelessly sought out his prey, ever the mighty predator he had grown into. As the latest kill fell before him and was consumed, Amarillo felt himself pass his greatest threshold yet, his body undergoing its greatest change yet as he returned to human size and stood upon two legs for the first time in countless centuries.
As the unbelievable power of his new form coursed through his reformed body, Amarillo came to a shocking realization: his hunger was nearly gone. With the primary goal that had driven him all these years all but non-existent, Amarillo was at a loss to what he would do next. He considered possibly just continuing his endless hunt, but something deep inside him said that would lead him nowhere, he'd evolved as far as he'd get that way. Years passed as Amarillo aimlessly wandered in search of a new purpose, occasionally pausing to hunt in order to quiet the vague ache of hunger that had taken the place of the gnawing void in the past. It was at this point, nearly mad with boredom, that a lower Hollow Amarillo had hunted down provided him with the solution.
Apparently a being much older than himself had tired of the endless conflict between Hollows and had begun gathering them under his banner for the purpose of creating an orderly society out of the endless wastes of Hueco Mundo. Hearing that a Hollow was trying to create something so...human out of the world they lived in resonated with something inside Amarillo, and he was struck with the urge to find this Hollow and hear things directly from their source. Leaving his prey behind, Amarillo set out to locate this strange Hollow.
Upon arriving at the man's location, Amarillo was shocked to find Hollows of every different stage living together in relative peace. His interest even greater, Amarillo made his way to the man's inner sanctum and received his greatest surprise yet. The Hollow he had been seeking stood before him: part Hollow, part-Human. Noticing his confusion, the leader of all these Hollows, going by the name Traca Carmesim, began explaining how the change in his form had come about and what his plans for the future were. Bringing balance to all of Hueco Mundo, such a grand goal amazed Amarillo, and seeing Traca's need for powerful Hollows, he swore eternal loyalty to him then and there.
Amarillo picked an excellent moment to do so, because moments later the camp came under attack by a division of Shinigami. With little time to spare, Traca explained the process he had undergone to achieve this new form and that he needed all the nearby Hollows to undergo this process to repel the attacking Shinigami. With no hesitation, Amarillo agreed, and was the first outside of Traca to become what would soon become known as an Arrancar. Indescribable agony coursed through Amarillo as part of his mask was removed, but it was soon replaced by the most incredible feeling of power he had ever experienced. With little time to waste, Amarillo and the other newly formed Arrancar strode forth and made the attacking Shinigami aware of how poorly they had chosen. In the aftermath of this battle, Traca chose to begin making Arrancar of those he deemed fit to join him, and soon formed a council of his mightiest Arrancar known as the Espada. Traca leads the Espada as the Primero, and Amarillo had the honor to be named the Segundo.
RP Sample: With only a sound similar to the creaking of an old door to herald his arrival, Amarillo Difuminar, Segundo Espada, stepped into the human world and surveyed the hordes of helpless mortals arrayed before him. It had been many long centuries since he had set foot in the human world, and the exponential increase in their numbers and advancement in technology greatly surprised Amarillo.
"Heh, they've bred like roaches. Now then, to work." Amarillo remarks to himself from his perch on top of a high rise building, bomber jacket whipping in the high winds.
Closing his eyes in concentration, Amarillo cast the spiritual net of his Pesquisa wide, the antenna on his head twitching and vibrating as he searches for a soul filled with the reiatsu necessary to sate the hunger itching at his belly. No such individuals were located in the immediate area, only insignificant humans with souls no thicker than paper, metaphorically speaking. Reaching out ever farther, Amarillo finally located his target: a single soul shining brightly among the drab, listless masses. With a flexing of his muscles and a small exertion of Amarillo's immense reiatsu, he shot off towards his target at speeds that would leave fighter jets in the dust.
Bounding from building to building faster than the eye can see, Amarillo rapidly closes the distance to his target, finding his search taking him to what the humans referred to as an airport. As his booted feet set down upon the roof of one of the airport terminals, memories of soaring through the clouds in a similar manner to the huge planes constantly landing and taking off filled Amarillo's mind. With a nostalgic sigh, he forced the urge to join those planes in the azure sky down and stepped off the roof, falling gently to the busy sidewalk below. Weaving effortlessly through the humans going about their insignificant lives, Amarillo made his way into the terminal, and laid eyes upon his target. This close to his target, the reason he possessed such a powerful soul became instantly clear to Amarillo: the man was a Quincy, a rare breed of humans that actually killed Hollows instead of purifying them like the Shinigami did. With a grin splitting his face at the fitting target fate had given him, Amarillo closed in on the Quincy, a middle aged man wearing a three-piece suit with curly black hair and horn-rimmed glasses.
As he got within 20 feet of the Quincy, even Amarillo's tremendous ability to suppress his reiatsu could no longer fool the man's senses, and his head snapped around to make eye contact with Amarillo, a shocked expression on the man's weathered features. Cutting off the man's sputtering attempts to make some grand opening statement, Amarillo cut straight to the point by saying "Hello Quincy, I'm here to end your life" with what could only be described as a feral grin transforming his normal looking face into something monstrous. Seeing this, every bit of color drained out of the Quincy's face, but he managed to master it quickly and materialized the energy bow Quincy are famous for, launching a trio of bolts at Amarillo. Sadly, Amarillo had ceased to be in the path of the bolts long before they reached him, leaving them to fly off and punch several softball-sized holes in the terminal wall.
"Over here Quincy." Amarillo whispered into the man's left ear, and grabbing hold of the Quincy's collar, he sent the man flying with a flick of his hand. Enjoying this far too much to end immediately, Amarillo set off across the terminal at a leisurely stroll, hands in his pockets and that same grin still on his face. Too shocked by the creature's sudden movement to arrest his flight, the Quincy flew clear across the terminal, clothes whipping in the air before his aerial voyage came to a crashing stop as he collided with an automated ticketing machine in a screeching crash. Such strange events occurring before the normal humans in the terminal naturally caused a stampede to get away in whatever manner possible, and Amarillo and the Quincy were soon the only souls in the building.
With a mighty shrug, the Quincy was able to shrug off the sparking remains of the machine and get to his feet somewhat unsteadily, clothing ripped and torn, crimson blood flowing from a gash across his forehead, to find Amarillo still several yards away. His body now trembling with terror at this creature that was obviously toying with him, the Quincy desperately fired off another salvo of arrows at Amarillo, but the few that actually had a chance of hitting him were avoided with simple weaves of his body. Upon seeing his attack avoided with contemptuous ease, the Quincy loses all will to fight, and his face filled with uncontrolled panic, the man turns and scrambles to reach a nearby emergency exit. The Quincy throws the door open, and plunging through concerned only with seeing if Amarillo was pursuing him, comes to a crashing halt both physically and mentally as he runs into what feels like a brick wall and falls onto his backside. With a look of absolute horror on his face, the Quincy turns to find Amarillo standing in the hall way before him, brushing the front of his jacket off from their collision.
"Well now, this was thrilling, but i have other things to do so let's wrap this up." Amarillo says as he reaches down and lifts the Quincy into the air by his throat as if he weighed nothing.
"W.Why?" the Quincy manages to choke out around Amarillo's vice-like grip, his arms grasping uselessly at Amarillo's fingers.
"Why am i going to kill you? I'm hungry of course." Amarillo explains, giving the Quincy a look like this was the most natural thing in the world. This look changes into confusion as the Quincy give him a look of equal parts disgust and horror, and Amarillo responds to it with "Don't give me that look. You humans do that to cows and such all the time when you get hungry. You're nothing more than that to me. Now, time to eat." before snapping the Quincy's neck like a twig and letting it fall to the ground like a sack of potatoes.
The instant the Quincy's body hits the floor, Amarillo's inhuman sense register the Quincy's soul, identical in all aspects except for a chain connecting his chest to his former body and a confused look on his face. With another huge grin on his face and glee in his bright yellow eyes, Amarillo inhales deeply and with a look of indescribable horror and a blood-curdling scream, the Quincy's soul is sucked into Amarillo's mouth, the chain connecting body and soul barely lasting a second. His mouth filled with the Quincy's soul, Amarillo makes several chewing motions before he swallows and lets out a delighted sigh.
Turning to the smooth stone wall on his left, Amarillo lightly taps against it and watches as a seam wide as he is tall forms and opens up to twice his height, revealing a nightmarish tunnel inside leading off into the distance. Turning to the Quincy's body, Amarillo's brows knot in concentration as arcs of yellow energy begin crackling between the antenna on his head quickly collecting into a pulsing orb of yellow energy roughly the size of a softball between the ends of his antenna. With a slight nod of his head, Amarillo fires his partially charged Cero at the body with a percussive whump, causing it to be instantly engulfed in a wide beam of energy and vaporized, leaving no trace of it behind. With that taken care of, Amarillo steps through the Garganta he opened and with a wave over his shoulder and a "Thanks for the meal.", lets it close, leaving the human world behind.

- Minus the marks on the blade
Weapon Description: When sealed, Amarillo's blade responds like a perfectly balanced weapon, allowing him to wield it like it was an extension of his own arm. Channeling reiatsu into the blade causes a crackling yellow aura to form around it, causing the blade's outline to waver in a similar manner to heat coming off a roadway in the middle of summer.
Passive Abilities
- Spoiler:
- Armored Exoskeleton
Amarillo's insect exoskeleton in Resurrecion creates an additional layer of protection against attacks similar to tank armor. This protects him from Kido attacks 45 and below, while also preventing him from taking damage while moving at the extreme speeds he can achieve during Resurrecion.
Death Stinger
The stinger Amarillo gains in his Resurrecion form is incredibly dense, similar in form to the depleted uranium rounds fired by main battle tanks. Such a stinger is naturally able to bypass defensive Bakudo (and similar defenses) from #40 down, and once a topic, Amarillo can energize it to the point that it can bypass any defense. This is tremendously taxing, consuming 40% of Amarillo's reiatsu and destroying the stinger in the process, which then takes 2 posts to grow back. When in use, a crackling field of yellow reiatsu surrounds the stinger for that post, increasing to blinding levels when fully charged.
Flash Wings
When in his Resurrecion, Amarillo gains great, 6 foot long insect wings that double his all ready prodigious speed, increasing the effectiveness of his preferred method of combat: hit and run tactics. These wings benefit from the protection that his exoskeleton afford him, but if an attack pierces it and damages a wing, they are still able to function, albeit at reduced efficiency.
Insect Senses
After activating his Resurrecion, Amarillo's all ready impressive senses are further bolstered by the addition of compound eyes and extremely sensitive antenna that perceive the world through an advanced form of echolocation. This makes it extremely difficult to hide from Amarillo, either by way of high-speed movement or putting structures between each other. Amarillo's enhanced antenna also allow him to perceive the world around him perfectly, keeping him viable in combat even if he is rendered blind or deaf.
Limited Regeneration
When in his Resurrecion form, Amarillo is capable of regenerating his antenna and wings with lightning speed, restoring them within seconds of being damaged or severed. He is also capable of regrowing his stinger, but it takes 2 posts to do so due to its complex composition.
Techniques
Canon
- Spoiler:
- Name: Bala aka Spark Vulcan.
State: Both
Description: A weaker version of the Cero that trades power for speed. Amarillo is able to fire Bala's so quickly that his have been dubbed the Spark Vulcan.
Name: Garganta
State: Both
Description: This is how arrancar move to and from Hueco Mundo. Kaname Tosen and Kisuke Urahara have also demonstrated the ability to use the technique. It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway.
Name: Hierro
State: Both
Description: This refers to the hardened skin of the Arrancar, which is a result of their compressed spiritual power. While their skin is strong enough to block even released Zanpakuto bare-handed, it is by no means impenetrable. Stronger Arrancar have proportionally stronger skin. Amarillo's Hierro is able to shrug off Kido of #35 and below, and lets him catch Shikai level Zanpakuto bare-handed, though he usually doesn't let it come to that.
Name: Negacion
State: Both
Description: Used to retreat from hostile areas, Negacion surrounds Amarillo in a yellow pillar of energy projected from a newly-opened Garganta, which he then departs through.
Name: Pesquisa
State: Both
Description: This is the arrancar equivalent of the Shinigami ability to sense Spiritual Pressure. It functions similar to a sonar. Using pesquisa requires most Espada to enter a meditative state or use some others have a trigger unique to the user. Amarillo's Pesquisa is sensitive to even minor surges in spiritual pressure and constantly active, using the antenna on his mask fragment as sensors.
Name: Sonido
State: Both
Description: A very quick movement performed by Arrancar that allows them to move at high speeds for brief periods of time. Amarillo's leaves behind and angular yellow when he uses it, but it doesn't keep up with him, something many of his opponents have made the fatal mistake of thinking.
Name: Gemelos Sonido
State: Both
Description: An advanced form of Sonido that allows Amarillo to create up to 2 afterimages of himself so real that only the most skilled of warriors can see through them. Can only be used every other post due to the strain it puts on Amarillo's body.
Cero
- Spoiler:
- Cero
Name: Cero
State: Both
Description: Amarillo generates his Cero between his antenna in the form of a spark of brilliant yellow energy, which fires out in the form of a straight beam of yellow energy capable of dealing significant damage to other Espada and straight out killing weaker Arrancar.
Name: Grand Rey Cero
State: Both
Description: Amarillo slices his hand open and then generates a Cero in that hand, his black blood mixing with the yellow energy to create an immense yellow and black striped Cero 20 ft across.
Name: Cero Oscuras
State: Resurrecion
Description: Amarillo generates a midnight black ball of energy tinged with yellow around the edges between his antenna, and proceeds to compress it down into a pinpoint of energy, which then lances out in a tightly focused beam.
Name: Descanso (Break) Cero
State: Both
Description: Amarillo generates a Cero in his left hand and then crushes it between his fingers, causing the energy to separate into multiple beams of energy that veer around wildly before converging on his target. Amarillo tends to save this for particularly evasive targets.
Resurrecion
- Spoiler:
- Adhesive Wax
State: Resurrecion
Description: As the insects Amarillo's Resurrecion is modeled after are capable of secreting wax to build their hives, he is able to do the same, but for offensive purposes. Generated from special glands gained in his true form, Amarillo is able to produce wax whose adhesive strength puts high quality steel to shame. Once two objects are stuck together, it requires tremendous force to break them apart. The wax retains its adhesive properties even after it has become stuck to something, allowing others to become stuck as well. Amarillo is naturally immune to his own wax. The force that must be applied to break Amarillo's wax is equal to a #80 Kido on the post it lands, #75 on the second, and #65 on the third before dissolving on the fourth.
Bomb Swarm
State: Resurrecion
Description: Within the hives that form on his shoulders in Resurrecion, Amarillo is able to create specialized bioweapons in the form of hornets. The first type is one he has dubbed the Bomb Hornet. Within these tiny creatures are unstable masses of reiatsu that detonate violently when they come into contact with any object that is not Amarillo. These hornets are usually guided to their targets by signals emitted from Amarillo's antenna, but they are capable of being set to patrol a specific position and attack anything save Amarillo that comes within 200 feet of them with relentless focus. This single-minded determination combined with speed only slightly slower than Amarillo's own makes merely keeping ahead of, let alone evading them, an extremely difficult task. Every post, Amarillo is able to generate a swarm of Bomb Hornets from the hives on his shoulders. With them, he is able to make a single attack equal to a single #80 Hado or 2 #40s. This and Barrier Swarm can't be active at the same time.
Drill Stinger
State: Resurrecion
Description: The stinger Amarillo gains in his Resurrecion form is incredibly dense, similar in form to the depleted uranium rounds fired by main battle tanks. In order to cause the maximum amount of damage to his enemies, Amarillo is able to start it spinning at many thousands of revolutions each second, turning a deadly spear into a savage boring tool of destruction. Contact with the spinning stinger causes damage equal to an #80 Kido for a single attack following it's activation, which must be restarted each turn. He also has the option of firing it off like a missile, but it will take him 2 posts to grow a new stinger.
Guard Swarm
State: Resurrecion
Description: Within the hives that form on his shoulders in Resurrecion, Amarillo is able to create specialized bioweapons in the form of hornets. The second type are known as Guard Hornets. The masses of reiatsu within these hornets is designed to blunt the force of any attacks made against Amarillo. In order to do this, their antenna allow them to piggyback on Amarillo's much better senses, giving them ample warning of incoming attacks so they can interpose there bodies between it and Amarillo. Every other post, Amarillo is able to generate a swarm of Guard Hornets from the hives on his shoulders. With them, he is able to block a single attack equal to a single #80 Hado or 2 #60s. This and Bomb Swarm can't be active at the same time.

(Ok this is all set. Comments? Critiques? Delicious baked goods?)

Re: Amarillo Difuminar [Espada Segundo] (Complete)
I'm just gonna go for it while Hage is not checking it right now. Trying to refresh my memories of the moderation... Apologies, Hage (:<
Don't know about this, does this mean all kido attacks 45 and below will not effect him during this state? Is this a passively activated ability during his resurrecion? Details would work. The rest of the abilities are fine to me, I'm just kinda iffy about this ability.
I don't know, does this mean it gets weaker everytime you use it?
...No, I don't think a power equivalent to that of #80 Kido would work(single target). One time, per post, yes? I'll let Hage handle this one.
Too powerful, in my honest opinion. I say nerf it down a little. Also suggest the Guard Swarm a bit of a nerf, this makes everybody under captain level not to even stand a chance against him. (Nerf, I've honestly been playing too much WoW >_>)
Edit: Apologies, forgot this one. I find it kinda' weird to have very great defense, offense, and speed at the same time.
Again, Hage, sorry xD I wanted to give Espada a shot.
Armored Exoskeleton
Amarillo's insect exoskeleton in Resurrecion creates an additional layer of protection against attacks. This protects him from Kido attacks 45 and below, while also preventing him from taking damage while moving at the extreme speeds he can achieve during Resurrecion.

Adhesive Wax
State: Resurrecion
Description: Amarillo is able to spit globs of wax that bind whatever they hit together with tremendous strength. Anyone that wishes to break this bond must literally rip the objects apart. If done on the first post, it causes damage equal to an #80 Kido. On the second, it causes damage equal to a #75. The third, #65 before dissolving away on the fourth.
I don't know, does this mean it gets weaker everytime you use it?
Bomb Swarm
State: Resurrecion
Description: Every post, Amarillo is able to generate a swarm of Bomb Hornets from the hives on his shoulders. With them, he is able to make a single attack equal to a single #80 Hado or 2 #40s. When an enemy closes to within 100 feet of Amarillo, the entire swarm will automatically attack them. Amarillo can choose to set a swarm in a specific position and it will attack any opponent that comes within 200 feet, freeing him to create another swarm but removing the previous one from his direct control. Swarms Amarillo creates refuse to detonate within 5 feet of him unless he specifically orders them to. This and Barrier Swarm can't be active at the same time.
...No, I don't think a power equivalent to that of #80 Kido would work(single target). One time, per post, yes? I'll let Hage handle this one.
Drill Stinger
State: Resurrecion
Description: Amarillo is able to start the stinger on his thorax spinning like a drill, and contact with it like this causes damage equal to an #85 Kido. Only one such attack can be made before Amarillo must recover for a post. He also has the option of firing it off like a missile, but it will take him 2 posts to grow a new stinger.
Too powerful, in my honest opinion. I say nerf it down a little. Also suggest the Guard Swarm a bit of a nerf, this makes everybody under captain level not to even stand a chance against him. (Nerf, I've honestly been playing too much WoW >_>)

Re: Amarillo Difuminar [Espada Segundo] (Complete)
They way i see the exoskeleton working is like an extra layer of armor that any Kido/equivalent attack below #45 can't get through, and it is a passive ability gained during Resurrecion. Think I'll add that to the abilities.
The way the wax works is that anything it comes into contact with is bound together so firmly that it must be literally ripped apart, and the listed damage is how much it hurts to do so depending on how recently they were bonded together.
Yea, the way i saw it was each swarm can do a max amount of damage equal to an #80 kido before being used up.
I made the stinger that strong because it's my only form of melee attack aside from plain punching and kicking, and thought the 'every other post use' of it balanced out the power.
As for the Guard Swarm, i think it makes sense that only someone of Captain level has a chance against me, this is the #2 Espada we're talking about.

I don't know. Espadas are captain level indeed, but possibly to kill off a lieutanent with just a simple attack doesn't seem to work. Maybe just a little, and I mean just a LITTLE nerf on the power would work.

The looks and personality need to be lengthened to at least 2-3 paragraphs of detail.
Your history needs to have the instructions removed, everybody loves to look at their writing but you can't kind of sick of seeing the same thing time after time...basically I just want to see what you've written for your history, split it into arcs if you want which I'd highly advise but the instructions for it I wrote out don't need to be there.
1300 word RP Sample is quite a bit, is that how you usually post, over 1000 words?
I'll run down the abilities whenever Taichou is done with whatever it is he wants.

K, I'll make those additions Traca.
As for the RP sample, I'd say it's probably a bit more than i would normally write, but I can't be really accurate on how close it is to what i normally write, since i don't frequent forum rpgs much anymore. I wanted to give something significant since I'm going for Segundo.
Taichou,
I'll lower the damage of my stinger to #80 to match up with Bomb Swarm. If I did that, would it be possible to make it useable every post?

Guard Swarm
State: Resurrecion
Description: Every other post, Amarillo is able to generate a swarm of Guard Hornets from the hives on his shoulders. With them, he is able to block a single attack equal to a single #80 Hado or 2 #60s. This and Bomb Swarm can't be active at the same time.
I think I remember 2 #40s.. Did you change that?

Yea, it didn't make sense for them to be #40 since my body can shrug that off in Resurrecion. Not sure if that's OP'd though. I could always just remove that and have it be a single #80.

Re: Amarillo Difuminar [Espada Segundo] (Complete)
This is just a general note, but based on your rp sample, and personality, I feel your alignment is Neutral Evil, rather than Chaotic Neutral. Your techniques just look fine for the most part, but is drill stinger simply a passive weapon? If so, having it have the power of an 80 kido behind it is far too high. If theres a reaitsu cost per strike (I'm thinking maybe 10% ish) then it should be fine.

Sweet. I just made a few changes and additions, but it's nothing major. Changed Grand Rey Cero to fit more with how it's shown in the amine, added Cero Oscuras and Negacion, and a limited regen ability in Resurrecion (only applies to my wings, antenna, and stinger so it can't be abused)

Seems like your character is physically strong and quite fast to use this... I'm pretty sure whats-his-face Espada had that cause he was considered what, fastest Espada there is?

Expect a text wall when I get back home, around 5 or 6 my time, so since 12 is about 6 forum time, like 12 or 1 forum time is when I'll start.

I'd like to see a longer weapon description and some more details in your techniques before I get too indepth on them.

Armor Exoskeleton
Is this in addition to your natural Heirro or an evolution of it? If its in addition, does that mean an opponent would have to cut through both layers to harm you?
Flash Wings
How much faster, percentage wise? One can already move in any direction they please when using Sonido since its merely an enhanced movement speed. How large are these wings, how strong, what happens if they're damaged?
Insect Senses
What exactly are you sensing, reiatsu, reiryoku, sound? You fail to clarify what it is you're sensing and an illusion would affect your body and thus your antennae as well so they're not likely to help you in that department.
Adhesive Wax
Pulling the objects apart deals this level of damage? I'm slightly confused as to what this technique does but I'm assuming thats what it is.

Re: Amarillo Difuminar [Espada Segundo] (Complete)
The exoskeleton is an evolution, so its a single tougher layer.
Edited the wings to add that.
Changed the senses to give what they use, and removed that they see through illusions.
Yea, the listed damage is for pulling stuck things apart. I'll lower it if you think it's too high.

Re: Amarillo Difuminar [Espada Segundo] (Complete)
The damage for sticky seems unrealistic, its not that its high its just that I can't see something sticky being able to release enough tension to deal damage like a lightningbolt or something like kido do. My only real problem with the application at this point.
