Standing at five feet five inches with long brown hair and a slim figure, Rascar is quite the looker and a prospect for female arranacars. Rascar’s features are a mixture of two worlds much like his personality . Half of him seems rebellious, ragged and wild while the other half seems elegant and neat. It’s the two clashing appearances that define Rascar appearance and what makes his outer wear so unique. Although his clothing is symbolic in a sense, they are also somewhat important to his acrobatic combat style. By wearing little clothing he is able to maneuver faster and avoid having his movement restricted by his attire. This also prevents him getting anything caught on his wires when he is using them. So by keeping his amount of clothing to a minimum, Rascar is increasing his combat abilities.

Rascar’s hair is a style that is rarely found in the spiritual world on males or females. Most spirits have their hair in a samurai based fashion or just not worry about it, seeing it as a waste of time. Rascar actual styles his hair and has got it the way it is on purpose. His hair is both straight and spiky; it lays straight on his head but sticks outwards. The sides and back of Rascar’s hair are much longer than the rest of it. The longer hair on the sides of his head go straight down instead of spiking out and actually reach his shoulders. The hair on the back of his head is actually extremely long but is tied into two long braids of hair that go all the way past his waist. Rascar’s natural hair color is a creamy brown but he highlights the ends of each strand with a bright blonde color.

Rascar’s facial features can be considered very wicked looking at first glance. His eyes are somewhat narrow and his eye color is crimson red. He is very proud of this eye color since it is near impossible for someone that doesn’t have a genetic disorder to have it. Though it can be used to make a charming smile, Rascar’s mouth is perfect for making a wicked grin. This wicked grin is usually used on his enemies as a way to provoke them. Rascar’s face as a whole is very slim yet muscular with chiseled features that are both charming and threatening.

Going back to Rascar’s clothing it is obvious that Rascar cares little for defense. Not even half of his body is armored and the rest is tight clothing for combat or for show. The armored part of Rascar shows his more wicked side once again. This is especially true with his clawed gauntlet he wears on his left arm. This clawed gauntlet is very threatening and it is also part of his spirit weapon along with his katana. Rascar’s right arm has a shoulder plate but has no other armor besides that except for the somewhat cosmetic shackle on his wrist. The last part of Rascar that is armored are his feet. His shoes, not being full greaves, barely protect from anything and instead act as cleats. The more elegant half of Rascar’s clothing are all purple and most of which are very tight clothing. His shirt is a sort of cut off shirt that displays his stomach where he has tattooed his espada number. Along with that Rascar wears long gloves that go from his elbow to his hand on both of his arms. There are similar articles of clothing on his legs that go from above his knee to his feet. Around his waist there is a golden colored ring that holds up his lower wear. Rascar often calls his loin cloth like clothing a “ samurai dress”, but most of the other arranacar call it a skirt. On the right side of Rascar’s waist is where he keeps his katana. Along with his katana there is a short sword with a scabbard and a few more weapons. There is one article of clothing that Rascar wears on a regular basis that doesn't fit either of these criteria and is instead more of a middle ground. This piece of clothing is his regal crimson colored cloak that he wears when not in combat that is held together by a golden bangle.

Although Rascar dresses like this, it is not un common for some arranacar to see him in other clothing depending on what time of day and where he is. This especially includes how his hair is styled. When Rascar is in a casual mood or in a casual setting he tends to let his hair fall down naturally instead of spiking it out. This makes Rascar’s hair very long as compared to when it is spiked out and some have even gone as far as to mistake him for a girl when his hair is like this. The only thing that never changes with what he is wearing is his clawed gauntlet and his weapons. No matter what the circumstance, Rascar can always be found with a large claw on his left arm and his sword on his waist.

Hollow Hole: Rascar’s hole is located on his left palm, covered by his gauntlet.

Mask Fragment: Rascar’s mask fragment is located around his neck and looks like a shackle around his neck. It is also somewhat discolored which gives it a gray tint and makes it look even more like a prison shackle.

Number Tattoo: Rascar’s number tattoo is located on his stomach which is always revealed due to his belly shirt. He wears his number with pride and therefore enjoys displaying it.

Personality:

As was previously stated, Rascar has two very distinct personalities. These two personalities are exact opposites of each other. One is characterized by very suave, calm and refined speech coupled with fluid movements similar to dancing. The other side of Rascar is extremely cocky, rude and insulting when speaking and makes very violent gestures along with Rascar’s signature wicked stare. These two opposite ways of acting are not split personalities. Instead they are just tow different ways Rascar acts depending on his audience.

When Rascar first meets someone he acts normally, which is the nicer of the two personalities. He more or less uses this personality to test the water or find out what someone is like before formulated an opinion. After some time with this personality showing Rascar makes the choice of whether the person is deserving of his respect or if he likes them. When this decision is made it is rarely changed and Rascar treats them accordingly. By doing this Rascar can get an un-biased opinion on someone by using a somewhat generic personality and seeing how they respond or react to it.

If the person in question impresses Rascar or simply shows that he is someone worth knowing or talking to, Rascar continues to treat them in the same way he was judging them. In fact, once someone is subject to this personality Rascar tries to not show them his other side unless he knows them or if it is necessary. When confronted with two people that he has judged differently Rascar usually gets flustered and leaves or just ignores one of the two. Even when the person speaks to Rascar rudely he will speak to them the same way he has been and attempts to calm them down. This does not only decide how Rascar speaks but also how he acts towards them. Rascar’s chivalry shines through when someone when someone is on his good side especially when they are female.

If someone is unlucky enough to get on Rascar’s bad side it is a completely different story. When Rascar has passed judgment on someone and decided that they are a nuisance, rude, or just in his way he releases his wicked side. Some people can be rude when they don’t like someone, but Rascar is down right cruel when he doesn’t. It is the opposite of when he likes them. He speaks rudely with no tact and doesn’t care for the person’s well being no matter what the situation. Like his good side, this carries on to his actions too. His walk becomes barbaric and he lashes around violent instead of as if he is dancing. This personality even removes his moral code and he can be driven to kill someone simply for not liking them.

During his free time Rascar is usually found either in his dorm composing literature or training himself. Rascar’s dorm is actually stacked with books most of which he has written himself. Due to his previous life being during medieval times, Rascar is a master of epic poetry and fiction stories with heroic characters. Rascar also dabbles in some philosophical types of literature after having conversations with Traca. He has never actually published a book about it but there are notes all over his room that are crumpled with that contain his ideas. Being a strong believer in the balance of body and mind, Rascar spends about half of his free time training and half of it reading or writing. His training takes place in an oasis out in the desert that Rascar has designated his training ground. Occasionally he will train closer to home but he enjoys being isolated as he trains and rarely trains with other arranacar. This has led to some arranacar considering Rascar a lone wolf instead of the social butterfly he really is.

Not surprisingly, Rascar is a very affectionate person and writes plenty of love poems and love stories. It is not hard to find Rascar flirting with some other arranacar on a daily basis as if it is a game. Although Rascar may be the biggest flirt Hueco Mundo, he has never been seen having real feelings for any of his targets. In fact, Rascar has never kissed anyone or gone beyond that, not even in his mortal life. The only arranacar that Rascar has amorous feelings for is actually Howaido Oukan despite her being raised while Rascar was an uncle figure. Rascar continues to fulfill his role of being ‘Uncle Rascar’, but he occasionally flirts and shows his feelings without even knowing. The reason for this is his long bond with Traca, who is very protective of his daughter. Rascar would rather stay friends with Traca than risk getting on his bad side even if it costs him his sleep.

Rascar and Traca actually have somewhat of a rich past and have known each other for a long time. This is due to Rascar's previous time being Espada number two. However, Rascar left his position for reasons he never told anyone else and was put under a trial to re-gain his rank when he came back. This outraged Rascar since he assumed he would have a warm welcoming instead of being scolded by him in front of Howaido, who Rascar took a part in raising. While Traca was Howaido's parent figure, Rascar was reffered to as " Uncle Rascar" and was more of a babysitter or a playmate. This is what led to Howaido's 'child-hood friend/relative' bond with Rascar which is something he both hates and loves to this day.



-Rascar always carries around a pen and paper in case he gets a sudden inspiration for a poem or story and needs to write it down.

-When reading in public, Rascar always makes sure he is reading out loud so that everyone around can hear him. This is an egotistical trait, meaning he does it so that others can hear his genius.

-Rascar is a fan of wine and keeps a collection of it in his dorm. Whenever drinking it he adds poisons or toxins into it because he says it "adds flavor". Due to this, Rascar has gained immunity to most regular poisons (meaning poisons that are created and use and excluding spiritual poisons.)

Weapon Information

Weapon Name: Veneno(Poison) and Dokuso(Toxin)

Veneno is one part of Rascar's dual zampakuto, namely, a katana. However, saying that Veneno is simply a katana is an understatement. Veneno is silver in color on its hilt and its sheath. On top of this silver color are in-gravings that spiral and cloud the sword like a mass of flower petals. Some of the spots between the engravings are actually colored gold to make them look even more like flowers. Another distinguishing cosmetic feature is the olive colored gemstone that is implanted onto the hilt of the katana. This gem actually has a faint glow in it that becomes brighter when Rascar is more excited or mad about something. Although katanas are traditionally used for offensive purposes, Rascar's usually uses the Veneno with its sheath still on as a more of a defensive weapon. The actual blade of Veneno has Rascar's toxins mixed into the weapon. This means that not only can the toxin not be removed from the sword, it can also take effect if someone were to be slashed by the sword. This is a passive ability and has nothing to do with Veneno's released form. Racar himself is immune to his own toxin and carries an antidote for it with him at all times.

Tosigo is the second part of Rascar's dual zampakuto. This half of the zampakuto is Rascar's favored half. Although upon first glance most would assume that the gauntlet is simply a piece of armor, there is actually much more to the weapon. In fact, Rascar never mentions his gauntlet being part of his zampakuto and lets the enemy figure it out for themselves. Inside the gauntlet is a large supply of wires that are also part of the zampakuto and are thus as tough as one. These wires are expelled from the claws of the gauntlet and Rascar is able to control them by simply flicking his fingers around. Naturally, since Rascar only has five fingers he is only able to control five wires at once but these wires can be at varying lengths. These wires are extremely quick and difficult to keep track of due to them being thin and of course the before mentioned speed. Since these wires are so tough, they are able to slash through enemies and weapons with ease. Like Veneno, Rascar's toxins are also mixed with the weapon making it lethal to get cut by.

Veneno/Tosigo

The release ability of Rascar's zampakuto is actually a very unique one. The gauntlet, the wires, and the blade of the katana all have an invisible (2.5 foot radius) aura around them that actually suppresses a targets spiritual pressure (excluded Rascar of course.). This allows the weapons to cut through things that are even tougher (spiritual pressure wise) then them unless the contrast between the powers of the two weapons is too much. In that case the wires would only weapon the target. This also means that if someone were to attack Rascar they would run the risk of hurting themselves due to the decrease in the pressure of their attacks. This does not reduce the amount of spiritual pressure someone has altogether, it merely pushes it a away so that the pressure is not 'with' the attack therefore weakening it. This also weakens anyone who is inside the affected area. This effect is greatly noticed by anyone being weakened by it simply because it is a noticeable strength reduction. The more overlapping auras someone is in, the more compressed and unusable their spiritual pressure becomes. This proves useful when Rascar needs to capture someone alive because all he needs to do is wrap them in the wires and they are rendered useless.

Resurrecion Information

Name: El Guantelete (The Gauntlet)


Represent: Portuguese Man’o’War,a creature that is found in oceans near Europe. Most may think it is a jellyfish, but it is in fact a compilation of much smaller organisms working together. Rascar's affinity with this animal gives him many regenerative abilities along with a few others.

Family: Nature

Looks: When in his release form, Rascar’s appearance doesn’t change at all until he activates his abilities. The only thing different about his appearance is the fact that his skin pulse up and down as if it were breathing at all times. This is due to the fact that now he is not of normal body composition, he is now a living organism made of smaller organisms. All of these organisms have a hive mind that Rascar controls. The central of control is Rascar's brain, which is still in the same place. This means that as long as Rascar has his brain in tact, he can issue controls to other parts of himself even if he is decapitated. When in resurrection, Rascar has no internal organs either and his blood vessels are actually replaced with veins that ooze toxin from them. In fact, even Rascar's clothes become actual living masses of creatures that are part of his body. This helps create the illusion that nothing has changed about Rascar when in actuality he is so much more deadly.

History and RP Sample

War Hero?

Rascar was born into poverty on a cold day in December. His father, a skilled blacksmith, refused his existence as much as he could on account of them not sharing blood. Rascar’s mother however, loved and cared for him until he reached the age of 10. It was the dark ages, and war was a very common thing in the world. At the time, Rascar’s hometown and a neighboring town were clashing. Running low on troops, the town had to recruit the young.

Rascar was muscular (due to all of the weapon making he did in his own private workshop) and was an exceptional sword fighter while the children played war. This made him a perfect soldier and he was forcefully drafted into the army. He trained, fought, and killed for 9 years after that until the biggest battle of his life occurred. The enemy ad nearly 1000 soldiers and Rascar’s army was less then 100 in numbers. Dispite Rascar trying to convince his men to stay and fight, they ran as the enemy neared. This left Rascar, alone, guarding an entire fortress. This was the day of his death. When his men returned to the village, they claimed that Rascar attacked them and they had to kill him in self defense. In one fell swoop, Rascar’s life and honor, were stolen.

After dieing, Rascar’s soul refused to leave without reaping vengeance on the coward that left him, and the men that killed him. He had become a spiritual monstrosity, a hollow. The first meal Rascar had as a hollow, was his father. Holding a grudge at him during his life wasn’t the only reason Rascar was attracted towards him. It turned out that Andrew the blacksmith, had the power to enchant weapons almost like magic. His spiritual pressure was so high, that Rascar couldn’t resist the urge to devour him. After his father, Rascar moved onto his mother.

Not feeling finished yet, Rascar hunted down his military unit and ate them all when they were in a bar laughing about the ‘foolish’ general Rascar. As he devoured them, Rascar found them less satisfying then he had hoped. Their pressure was far to low to fill him up and Rascar knew he needed to find something stronger to eat. After realizing this, Rascar began to trap and ambush other hollow to aid in him devouring them. After devouring a considerably amount of hollow, Rascar morphed into a Gillian. Using his extreme will and strength, he was able to take control of the Gillian and continue his dark harvest.


After a relatively short period of being a Gillian, Rascar’s Gillian form was compacted into a smaller man’o’war based adjucha. Being based on a man’o’war, Rascar was granted the ability of regeneration and powerful toxins to defeat other spiritual beings and devour them. With these abilities, Rascar easily feasted on other beings, filling most of his diet with other adjuchas due to their higher pressure.

Slowly, Rascar’s body began to gain humanoid features accompanied with a human personality. One day Rascar found a group of shinigami in the wilderness and saw this as his chance to nab a tasty meal. Sitting in a tree, Rascar waited for them to pass. When they did, they were immediately entangled in mass of tendrils and killed by the toxins that entered their bodies. With a triumphant roar, Rascar ate.


After feeding on the shinigami, Rascar’s metamorphasis was nearly complete. All he needed to do now was have his mask removed so he could take on his next form. This was a challenge onto itself, but Rascar had other problems as well. Apparently the shinigami he ate weren’t alone and Rascar was forced to run from a squad of other shinigami. Rascar ran for days, and for days, the shinigami pursued.

When Rascar thought he couldn’t go any farther, he met up with a member of the Obscura Oracion. After explaining everything he had been through and about the persueing shinigami, the member agreed to remove Rascar’s mask. Laughing manically, Rascar turned to face his pursuers. Although they were shocked at first, the shinigami still tried to kill Rascar. It was a long and intense battle, but in the end there was one victor, Rascar the arranacar.

For months Rascar lived in a small castle he had made himself, still feeding on the occasionally passing hollow or shinigami. He wasn’t exactly feared by other arranacar, but he was respected. He was know as ‘The Claw’ or ‘Toxic Talon’ by most arranacar. No one really knew his name at that point, they named him after his appearance and fighting style. One day one of Rascar’s ‘fans’ was bragging about how he thought that ‘Toxic Talon’ could beat any of the espada. Espada #3 eventually heard of this and became enraged. Immidiatly he went to Toxic Talon’s castle and issued a challenge.

The challenge was random and uncalled for to Rascar, but he knew he would end up fighting even if he declined. With a sigh, he accepted the challenge and went outside where a crowd of arranacar had already gathered to watch the fight. The fight was short due to the espada’s poor choice to dash towards Rascar. This allowed him to quickly ensnare him in a bundle of wire and slice him into dozens of pieces. With the two pieces that were the espada’s head, Rascar approached the other espada and demanded the rank of #3. He was granted his rank and held it for quite some time until a certain incident.

Well... I just realized that some of my attacks are based on stats. Any suggestions on how to edit them to be acceptable in the new system?

Describe, how powerful they are in kido level would pretty much work, or put them in your own words.

Hmmm, that might work for some of my cero attacks (I'm going to completely re-write them either way), but what about my more technique based attacks that involve my wires?

That can be determined with the strength of kido numbers too, or you can describe it just what will happen if you get touched, ex cetra.

Your personality mentions that you're 3rd Espada but you've modified for 2nd.

Due to this, Rascar has gained immunity to most regular poisons.

You'll have to specify that this only applies to item based poisons and not to poisons that would feature into someones Shikai or Bankai since it would be impossible to develop an immunity to a poison you've never encountered.

The actual blade of Veneno has Rascar's toxins forged into the metal.

Like Veneno, Rascar's toxins are also forged into the weapon making it lethal to get cut by.

Zanpakuto are weapons made from your soul so no 'forging' exists and theres no real 'metal' its more a spiritual material. So it would be more appropriate to simply say its a feature of the weapon rather than that wording.

Does your Pesquia require mediation or do you have a unique form of sensing? I think it would be poor if the 2nd Espada couldn't even sense without going into a trance so I'd suggest a different type of trigger.

Swamp of Deadly Toxins
Please modify the technique to state how quickly the toxin appears as well as requiring contact with the ground to initiate since I can't think of any other way to make the technique work without contact unless you're just dripping venom from the sky onto the ground.

Intoxicating Touch
Need to mention actual physical contact in the ability as well as how long it takes and considering the weapons of every other spiritual being are alive and conscious you can't be forcing poisons into them, coating the outside of it is fine but the wording seems to imply you're infusing it with poison or something which would be rejected and fought against simply by living instinct let alone spiritual power.

Wire Tornado
Non-cohesive attacks like a fireball would move bettween the wire despite the spinning so you'll need to make note of attacks of that nature, non-cohesives wouldn't have an issue with a barrier like that.

Wire Ground Assault
You're gonna have to stay attached to the ground for this technique to work, since if you move you're pulling the wire up with you which not only reveals the attack but it also lessens its effect. That wasn't written into the technique but it should be.

Please add a note about excluding spiritual signatures since this is a physical change.

How exactly do you destroy a weapon? Seems like you omitted that part, or I missed it.

The technique in of itself isn't lethal so the wording should be altered to reflect that and avoid using that kind of wording since it could lead to confusion easily.

Just be aware that particularly quick opponents or attacks will have some room for reaction time.

What next?

Post 3-7: Extreme pain, all physical abilities begin to deteriorate.(1/4 each post)

Concerning your toxin, you might want to recalculate the math for that step. If on the third post they lose 1/4th of their physical abilities, then they're down to a half on post four, 1/4 on the fifth post, and nothing on the sixth. Not only does this not reach a 7th post for its effect since you can't lessen beyond zero, a fourth is too much for the toxin so bring it down to 1/5th. Also edit the last post, the 7th, to paralyze the target since they'll have 0% physical stats at that point, and remove the death post and just state if they don't receive medical treatment after paralysis that they'll eventually die within the hour or something since after they're paralyzed the fights pretty much over and you'll want to switch over to either a killing blow or back to normal RP time.

Figured you'd want to be aware of that at least, and you can also modify your Sonido to have some personal effect (ex. mine leaves a white blur due to speed) nothing really combat intensive but as a touch-up.

Optionally, Gemelos Sonido isn't taken yet I don't believe so thats an option, it corresponds with your Resureccion ability to replicate so I think that might be suitable for this character. I would encourage going for that.

Forgot to mention the wires would be visible since you're pulling them along with you, you have 25ft of wire, if you move your hand up the limited length means it has to go somewhere, like with your hand up into visible air.

Flesh Imitation
Can this imitation use abilities or attacks? If so you'll need to put a portion of your own spiritual energy into it to allow that to occur, I assume its just a decoy technique but it wasn't specified. Please clarify.

This may need to be modified, see below. Also you're grabbing onto an opponents weapon which offers a whole host of options for them so just be wary of that, I'd use it sparingly.

Concerning your weapons spiritual repression its too powerful of an ability to be added along with poison considering you can simply wrap them up, make them unable to defend themselves in any fashion, and then slowly kill them. Considering your poison already lessens the targets strength, its also unnecessary and would just stack effects unfairly, so please remove that. You have Heirro for lessen attacks which is effectively the same thing but compressed into a physical form. Now if you wanted to give up your heirro and have it extend in an aura around you or something maybe but if you want that it'll need a lot of tweaking.

When we get done with this I'll move onto the Resureccion.

I think I'll continue with this app when this site shows some more progress, right now it doesn't seem like much is going on.
