Guide: Character Creation

This guide is in place to explain how templates should be filled out. We ask that no additional tags be put in place such as color coding, tables, or additional sizing tags as we have written these guides in this manner for a reason.

Shinigami creation

Basic Information

Name: Your name, of course we would like it to sound somewhat japanese in origin but this is not necessary.

Age: Your character's age, Both the age they look and the age they actually are. Please note we will not be accepting characters with an actual age of ??? You are the creator and hence, YOU know how old the character is even if they do not. Any characters with an age of ??? or N/A will be denied outright.

Gender: Male, Female. We do not allow genderless characters usually so have a good reason if you're gonna.

Division: What division of the gotei thirteen are you in.

Seat: Which rank, Captain, Vice Captain, Third Seat etc

Looks: Describe your character's appearance. We ask for two good sized paragraphs but this is ultimately up to the mod looking over your application

Personality: How does your character act, What strange quirks does he/she have to her. We're asking for three good sized paragraphs here.

Zanpakuto Information

Zanpakuto Name: The name of your sword, please try and make this name something in japanese, even if you don't know the language there are sites that translate English to Japanese. Such as Freedict

Zanpakuto Looks: How does your katana look. Please use words and a picture.

Zanpakuto Description: Describe what your zanpaktou is used for, your fighting style and or key points of your sword's techniques.

Manifestation: A picture and description are needed here or only worded description if wanted. This describes the full hollow form.

Unique Ability: Self explanatory

Hollow Mask Appearance: A description is necessary here. A picture is welcomed but will not be accepted by itself.

Duration: Post limit of your mask's use, include a cooldown time before it may be used again.

Espada/Arrancar creation

Rank: Rank is 1-5 Rank 1-3 is lower arrancar and Fracciones Ranks 4 and five are reserved for espada.

Number: Numbers 1-10 are reserved for hollows. No triple digit numbers will be allowed and any numbers such as 666 or 420 put on an app even jokingly will result in the character being locked and archived, in other words you will be required to start from scratch.

Hollow Hole: Where is the hole, this can be anywhere on the body with the exclusion of the groin.

Mask Fragment: What remnants of your mask still exist?

Number Tattoo: Where is this located.

Weapon Information

Weapon Name: The name of your sword

Weapon Looks: It's description. This is not limited to only swords, it can be scythes spears yo yo's etc

Weapon Description: Any special pre release abilities belong here. Remember that the espada's sword functioned in the same manner as a Shikai form of Zanpaktou and releasing it was equated to a captain's bankai release.

Techniques

Name: Garganta
State: Both
Description: This is how arrancar move to and from Hueco Mundo. Kaname Tosen and Kisuke Urahara have also demonstrated the ability to use the technique. It literally tears open the dimensional fabric separating the worlds, revealing a tunnel of whirling, torrential energy that must be focused and solidified to create a discernible pathway.

Name: Hierro
State: Both
Description: This refers to the hardened skin of the Arrancar, which is a result of their compressed spiritual power. While their skin is strong enough to block even released Zanpakuto bare-handed, it is by no means impenetrable. Stronger Arrancar have proportionally stronger skin.

Name: Pesquisa
State: Both
Description: This is the arrancar equivalent of the Shinigami ability to sense Spiritual Pressure. It functions similar to a sonar. Using pesquisa requires most Espada to enter a meditative state or use some others have a trigger unique to the user.

Name: Sonido
State: Both
Description: A very quick movement performed by Arranacar that allows them to move at high speeds for brief periods of time.

Armor/Glove Information

Description: A description of your bow's capabilities. This includes fire rate, strength rate etc

Techniques

Name: Hirenkyaku (飛廉脚; lit. "flying screen step/god step")

Description: Analogous to the Shinigami Flash Steps or the Arrancar Sonído, the Quincy Hirenkyaku allows the user to move quickly over short distances; according to Uryū Ishida it is faster than flash steps, though Mayuri Kurotsuchi's superior speed suggests that this is just a generalization. To perform the technique, the user gathers spiritual particles under their feet and rides them to the desired location. Like the air-walking skill displayed by most Arrancar and Shinigami, it can also be used to hover or fly for long distances. Mayuri compliments Uryū on being able to use this technique at such a young age, suggesting that it is difficult to master.

Name:Ransōtengai (乱装天傀; lit. "heavenly wild puppet suit", "disheveled paradise puppet" in the Viz translation

Description: * this is a high level technique that allows the user to control their body parts using strings of spirit energy controlled by their brain, forming lines or strings out of countless spiritrons. By using this technique, the user can control their body as one would a puppet, allowing them to move freely despite paralysis, broken limbs, or any other force that would impede normal movement. It was originally created to allow elderly Quincy to fight effectively, and is rare enough that Mayuri had never encountered a Quincy (out of the 2661 that he examined or studied) who could use it before Uryū.

Dislocated joints and broken bones are meaningless against this technique.
