We are mortal enemies, don't speak Episode 1: A meeting between enemies(No killing)

Raiden had came to the gate to enter into the real world. He had his hell butterfly and was ready. Raiden had the day off, and he was going to meet his family again. You know he needed to check on them, and make sure to see about the hollow activity. He wanted to say hello to his old sensei. So he ventured into gate. He walked through, and eventually came to the other door. He entered out, and jumped out onto a roof. Raiden was smiling. He was able to see his family and sensei again. He went towards his parents house when he noticed a figure with a bow in his hands. The boy shot towards a hollow, and the hollow dissapeared. "Weird.. he must be a Quincy", said Raiden. Raiden stopped his route, and went towards the park. He got down there, and called out to the Quincy. "Hey...Quincy guy, I am here to talk to you", said Raiden. Raiden walked towards him, and stopped about 15 ft from him.

Kyouichi ran with full speed attacking a fast moving hollow firing a barrage of arrows at him, making it so he could control where the hollow went.

He raised his bow and fired an arrow that shattered and turned into a weird spider web that wrapped around it body, causing it to fall over and hit the ground.

The hollow had little of intelligence and could speak with human tong to a certain degree, but it sounded like a five or nine year old was talking to him.

Kyouichi tried to ask it what it was doing in this area, and if it was involved in some of the incidents that happened in the town, but it just kept saying that it thought it was fun just killing people and stuff.

Kyouichi’s eye’s flashed open when he heard that and raised his bow charging an arrow.

Kyouichi hated this hollow for what it had done, and it would have to pay for something that it had to done for and he fired the arrow and killed it without a second thought, believing that he exacted revenge upon the hollow for the killing of a poor and defenseless old spirit that was struck down by this hollow. Kyouichi clenched his fist in anger for arriving too late to save the spirit, he wanted to talk to this spirit, which was his somewhat of a friend to him, to get information off of him, it seemed like that almost all of his spirit contacts that know allot of information and gossip that went around the town, were slowly getting killed off or something, just last week his to friends that were near the outskirts of the town were found killed and brutally murdered, by an unknown suspect, which Kyouichi knew that it was a hollow that killed them.

He wanted ask this spirit of what happened that one night that Seigen, and the other strange people fought, wondering what happened after he left, and what else he knew about them, but for some strange reason this hollow popped up out of nowhere and killed him, just too much to be an coincidence.

Kyouichi put his hand over his face trying to figure out what was going on but turned around when he heard someone call him quincy boy, he turned and saw a male that looked to be a shinigami that stood 15 meters away from him, Kyouichi waited to see what he was going to say.

"Hey Quincy boy... my name is Raiden Ronin, the youngest sould reaper ever", said Raiden. Raiden noticed the Quincy troubled. It reminded him of his back when his dad died. Raiden stood there with no words. "So you have been going around killing Hollows. I would like to thank you for helping me out. See my mom and siblings live here. You have been protecting them my friend", said Raiden. Raiden looked up at the sky.

"Hollows.. or anything like them should never be allowed to be made or created", said Raiden in a irate mood. Yuske had flash backs of the berserk vaizard that killed his father.
He heard his father’s words again as he died. “Will you take my duty as a Shinigami. To protect the ones who can’t be protected. He said to himself, “I will always protect what should be protected. With my life”

He thought about death, and how he could not bare the death of his father twice. Yuske snapped out of the trance he was in. “Oh sorry about that Quincy boy… what is your name? You definitely don’t want me calling you that”, said Raiden. Raiden stood there waiting for a response.

Kyouichi looked at Raiden with first a confused look that soon Kyouichi felt somewhat relieved, no one usually came up to him and would say anything like a thanks or anything from anyone, he was used to having strangers come up to asking what he was doing, was he human, or just having a shinigami or someone to just attack him, when they found out that he was a quincy and things that go with quinces, and other things and ect.

Kyouichi just smiled a little at the thanks Raiden gave him and titled his head in a little of confusion when he realized that he had been protecting this part of town which was one of his patrolling area’s from hollow attacks and other things that threatened the people as well as doing stuff for Hakumei (I think that I spelled that wrong..), and was told that he was also protecting Raiden’s living family members without any knowledge.

Kyouichi looked at his expressions when he talked about his family but did not mention a father in his sentence, for a brief few minutes of observing him and his movements, and wondering how old he actually was, he was young for his age, and seemed like Kyouichi had seen his face from somewhere, probably most likely from a news or a newspaper article, or somewhere he just looked familiar, like he might have heard something about his family into, but he just decided to let it pass through his mind, it also seemed that he didn’t like Hollows at all, Kyouichi didn’t dwell too much on this thought either, there is probably not anyone around that likes hollow’s except for arraccnar, but Kyouichi liked his sister regardless if she was a hollow.

Kyouichi stared at him for a second when he asked for his name, it would have sounded weird if he was called quincy boy all the time, “I’m Kyouichi Utsume 17 years old and Junior, nice to meet you.” he replied while moving to shake Raiden’s hand

After shaking his hand he put his hands into his pockets, “So what are you doing? Visiting your family or something? Or was there something you needed to ask me?” he asked while not trying to sound nosy or anything.

Yuske than so the boy's expression. It wasn't a threatning look either. "Oh hold on". Yuske flash stepped into a alley. He went into his Gigai that he had left at his family's house. He walked back up. "Oh so your name was Kyouchi. Nice to meet you. No I don't need anything... I was just visiting my family when I noticed a quincy around. I haven't seen that many lately. I hope this isn't rude by asking, but is something going on in the Quincy clan. Any ways I am about 15, but I do look 13. I love my young look".

Raiden put on a smirk. A arrancar appeared. Raiden stepped out of his Gigai. He saw Kyouchi about to pull out his bow. Raiden unsheathed his sword, and slashed it straight in half. The arrancar screamed in agony. Blood oozed from the lifeless body of the masked villan. Raiden put his sword back on his back. Then he returned to his gigai before it even hit the ground. "Can't even give me the time or day... this arrancar was going to try to cause some real damage. A being disturbing nature by braking down walls that have stood since the beggining of time". Yuske stood there, and scratched his head. "By the way I am 7th division, 4th seat", said Raiden. A wind blew by. The swings rattled back and forth. The trees rustled, and a few leaves fell off.

OOC: sorry its kinda short i've been busy with other stuff for awhile

Kyouichi stood there for a moment thinking of what to say, So Raiden said that he is 15 now, then the time he died and became a shinigami was when he was either 13 or 12, so he's been a shinigami for probaly about 2 or 3 years, he thought to himself seeing how he easily sliced the arracnar in half with one fling of his sword.

Kyouichi looked at his gigai before it touched the ground with a curious exspression, was it possible that his family didn't know that he died and became a shinigami or was it that they knew.

Kyouichi let out a sigh when Raiden asked about the quincy's population, it was quite normal for someone as his age in soul society to have not known what have happened to the quincy's.

Kyouichi scratched his head, "Well one of the reasons why you haven't seen that many quincy's around is because not that many are alive, they kinda had a little war with the shinigami and kinda died out, so only a few have survived, and a few of the one's that survived are kinda still holding a groude against shinigami and would try to kill any of them at any given moment, but for one's like me who seem to friendly and make friends with shinigami, and help them out is kinda considered a dishonor or something, but I try not to dwell upon the past I look for something else." he said with a small smile.

Raiden thought about the words of the Quincy. "War... death.. suffering between Shinigami and Quincy", thought Raiden. Raiden went back in his mind to remember any knowledge he had gained in the Soul Society. He tried to remember, and he did remember reading something about alot of Quincy deaths. He remembered when he was young his best friend told him something about Quincy.

Raiden thought back to the time his best friend told him that. It must've been when they were 9 or something. Raiden dwelled in the past.

Raiden is walking with his best friend. "Hey Judai", said Raiden. "Yes", said Judai. "Where do your parents come from, I never see them and no one never sees them goto work, What do they do?", said Raiden. "Well there kind've in the special forces... they help defeat bad guys secetly like super heroes.. They are the Quincys, I wanna be like them when I grow up", said Judai happily.

Then Raiden thought about what happen to his friend 3 days later..

Judai is lying against a wall half dead. "No.. what happen", yelled Raiden. Judai lied there coughing up blood, as the blood trickled down his cold fingers. Then a hollow came up from behind. Judai pushed Raiden out of the way, and he shot the Hollow with a arrow, but it wasn't a normal arrow. The arrow was made up of spirit particles. "Bye friend I tried to tell you, but its my time. Beware of those monsters, and beware of the Shini...", said Judai as he slowly closed his eyes to death.

Raiden snapped out of his little flashback. "Ohh so we are suppose to be mortal enemies huh", said Raiden grinning. Raiden couldn't snap out from the flashback he had. He did not want to fell in the letters that his friend could not utter. "Shini", thought Raiden. Raiden did not want to add the ending letters just to find out the thing that Judai told him to fear most was what he was. "Shinigami", thought Raiden.

Raiden put on a smile on the outside. He felt somewhat insane on the inside. He was inbalanced, and caught off guard from meeting this Quincy. For the least, this was the second Quincy he had ever met. Raiden hoped that the misfortune that fell upon his friend would not fall this one.

Kyouichi scratched his head again as he looked up towards the sky with a bored expression, it seemed that something crossed his mind when he looked at the sky, but there was nothing there to look at but the giant large clouds that occupied the giant and endless blue sky.

Every time he talked or thought about quincy's or even being one made him think of his siblings, and including "her" who was never a quincy to begin with and it used to make him despise and hate the word and name quincy, he used never ever want to use his bow again, for a long and extreme amount of a period of time, but he didn't worry about it anymore, he didn't care about the past anymore, nor of the future, he cared for only one thing and one thing only, he just wanted to know the truth did he do it to her or did someone else do it, he was just confused.

Kyouichi put his hand over his eye patch remembering being shot there by an arrow, but the question was who, at first he thought it was his father, but there were times when he thought it his brother, who fit the bill more likely than their father and he knew that his sister could have never done it, since she wasn’t in that place to begin with.

He didn’t have time to deal with the whole revenge thing or nothing that applied to it, he wanted to find her, it seemed that also around that area was her, when she was supposed to be dead, Kyouichi thought he had accidently killed her in a blind and uncontrollable rage, and went to her grave, remarkably there was a body still in there.

Kyouichi looked back towards Raiden, and was fixing his gloves, checking to see what he would do next.

Raiden stood there pondering on his sad forgotten thoughts. He noticed the Quincy, no Kyouichi standing there like the world was pushing him down. It was getting later and later at night. The day sky had started to fill in the gaps of light that were still scattered across the sky. The stars began to come out little by little.

Raiden then took something out of his pocket. He remembered when he was given this. The old lady that taught him gave it to Raiden today. She said he would need it to live. Raiden had laughed and wondered what the old hag was up to. He left that thought, and handed Kyouichi it. "Here", said Raiden. "Its a communicator that helps us contact eachother. If you need help I will come to help, and if I need help you can come if you like", said Raiden.

Raiden smiled. He turned around and began to leave the park. Raiden stopped instantly. "By the way don't be so tense. I know that feeling, the feeling of not being able to do nothing. Being inferior, and knowing you must get stronger to protect what you want. Cause as you get stronger, others get stronger. Thats nothing but the truth my new friend.... Don't speak", said Raiden smiling.

"We are suppose to be mortal enemies", said Raiden smiling. He began to walk off.
