I received permission from both the Site Owner and the leader of the Vaizards to make this app before hand. Is waiting to add stats upon Dark's decison as to which rank I recieve.

Kengen is acutally rather thin for a man who is all about fighting. This however does make him rather fast. He has a very strong core central body, as in his abs, hips etc. This gives him a strong base and creates for stronger and more agile technique rather then just raw power. He has white hair that is streaked with a light tinge of blue. His skin is an olive color and his eyes are jungle green. He is of average height, standing at about 5'10." He is still toned despite his small over all size. He does not wear the normal shinigami garb, and instead wheres a suit of black leather which actually covers the lower half of his face. He also wears his zanpakuto across his back instead of at his side.

Personality
Kengne is very kind hearted to his comrades and allies. He is usually calm and peaceful, being one to partake in heavy meditation. He is incredibly smart, having an IQ of above 250, which is ridiculously high. He tends to rely heavily on his speed and intelligence to defeat his opponents rather then his physical strength where he is extremely lacking. When he enters into battle he is extremely fierce and focused, and will do all he can to win. He does not usually partake in a fight with out a definite point, whether it be to train someone or save someones life, or to execute his duties. He is a man with purpose, he is all about purpose.

Unique Ability: The abilty o this mask is one of a kind and can be extremely potent when used correctly. To signify the start of this attack, ther persons eyes, already changed yellow and black by the mask transformation, will suddenly cloud over and when that clears, will be pure red with a black design across it, resembling a 3 bladed throwing star. The whole world surrounding Kengen and his opponents will change rapidly, so fast to the point that it is inescapable, it is almost instantaneous. The sky will become a blood red color and the sun will become white, or if the moon is out it will turn blood red, almost matching the sky but still distinguishable. Inantimate objects will become black and people will look as they would in a photo negative, straight reversal of black and white.

Intially this does nothing at all but opens up a new skill for Kengen which comes straight from his inner hollow, Itatchi. From his body he will be able to produce jet black crows which then fly around him until he manipulates them otherwise. When he does use them, they fly directly through the opponent and their secret is revealed. These crows, hold the ability to absorb reaitsu. The birds can absorb it just from being around the object (about half a foot away from a person or object.) and can even absorb it from the landscape in places like Hueco Mundo or the Soul Society (no distance requirement.). However, they have the ability to phase through objects and even people and gain twice as much reaitsu if they do this. After having absorbed Reaitsu, they have two further things they can do. One they can explode with a force equal to however much reaitsu they had absorbed. Two, they can phase through Kengen, who can then take in the Reaitsu that the crows absorbed. The crows can be blocked and destroyed with a spiritual weapon/attack. Causing the crows to phase takes acute concentration and distinct purpose and so they cannot phase when attacked. The flip side of this is that if they had already gone into the transition form, and were about to phase through said person, then normal attacks will not phase them unless imbibed with some level of reaitsu. Even a shinigami's sword is enough for this.

Zanpakuto Information

Zanpakuto Description:

Ekigarasu is an extremely unique zanpakuto. It looks completely different from most others, even when not in its releases Shikai mode. It is clear, taking on the appearance of glass, though no where near as breakable, being as strong as any other zanpakuto. Its handle is also rounded and smooth, instead of clothed and rectangular. It has no guard and is completely see through. It also has several patterns that spread along its blade that hold no significant meaning, but are still very much attractive and distinguishing.

Released Zanpakuto Description:

Eikigarasu is a fairly powerful sword, in the hands of Kengen, it is ultimate. The first incantation, ( scold the flesh) causes the sword to change. It first will lengthen up to seven feet and then liquidize in to a clear whip of heated liquid glass. The glass is extremely hot, raging about 900 degrees Fahrenheit. It can bend quite easily as it is a whip and by channeling a small amount of reaitsu it can even extend up to 50 feet. However, when it does extend, it can only do so for about 3 posts before it must retract into its original length. It can then be made to extend again after a 1 post cool down. Two things happen when it hits. First off, it will scald the flesh, leaving a third degree burn. While in this form it can not cut like a traditional blade would. It however does leave liquid glass upon the one who was hit. This will cool instantly and solidify as soon as it disonects with the sword after spreading our slightly. This creates great pain as the glass itself will have seared the flesh and actually have fused with it. If this is applied to a joint, it will restrict the movement of that joint greatly. The glass can be broken, but this will be extremely painful and would leave tiny shards of glass in the wound creating extreme pain for the afflicted person. The person will lose 5 stamina points when hit with the sword. If the glass is shattered/ripped from the skin, the person will lose an additional 3 stamina points right off and in the case of shattering, will lose an additional 1 every post unless the glass fragments are scraped out as well. Scraping out the glass shards loses another 3 stamina points.

Ekigarasu is a lot like Kengen in his appearance in that they both are assassins and have assassin garb to go with it. He wears both black and yellow and keeps his head completely covered, only exposing the eyes. He is very strong and muscular with green piercing eyes and olive toned skin, a lot like Kengen.

Zanpakuto Realm:

The realm of Ekigarasu appears to be a large rocky cavern that goes on for miles and miles, the end does not exist. It is filled with a grim red light, the source of which is unknown. The floor is created of several pillars and rock platforms which have a sick green liquid, presumably an acid of some kind that the rocks are impervious to but souls and flesh are not. Human skull scatter through the whole area and lost freakish looking souls are often seen with in the acid itself or floating through out the otherwise barren wasteland.

Bankai Information

Shikai must already be activated, Kengen can not go straight from normal to Bankai with out first activating the Shinkai. It plays a key role in the following technique. When Kengen utters Bankai and then the above incantation, the whip will straighten out and retract to only five feet but remain hot and liquidy. Kengen will then touch the tip of Ekigarasu to the ground and surge his Reaitsu through it, making hot liquid glass spread through out the area for 25 meters in each direction, creating a circular area. The glass solidifies instantly, creating a slippery playing field. A wall of glass will then shoot up around the edge up to 25 feet in the air and then form a cealing, creating a giant prison of glass trapping Kengen and any others inside. The speed of this is so fast that it is nearly impossible to escape it. The floor and walls happen in the first post. the cealing finishes closing before the end of the second post. Kengen can then control the glass at will, though he no longer has a blade as it has entirely been taken up by the prison and then some. He must fight manipulating the glass from the walls, sealing, and floor. The glass is regenerative, so any damage or if any is taken for an attack, it will replace itself almost instantly (half the time of an average post takes per meter). It also takes a level 55 kido or strength to damage the glass. Escape is extremely difficult. In order to escape you would have to make a large enough hole to pass through and also be quick in passing through the hole.

He can manipulate the glass in its solid state like an earth user would manipulate dirt etc. He can cause it to grow or shatter and manipulate it in these ways. He can do all of this mentally, even causing it to raise up and manipulating it in the air. He can also cause it to liquidize the glass and manipulate it in the heated form, but this takes about twice as much reatitsu as manipulating it in its solid form (2 stamina points every time used). However, if he does liquidize it, the glass he liquidized will not regenerate. The only way to complete that part of the glass cage would be to have that glass harden again in that same spot (1 post). These effects can only be used inside the glass cage and not outside of it. However, Kengen is capable of stopping regeneration, and is capable even of removing parts of the cage or keeping parts of it for growing so if he leaves it open, he so leaves open his reach and range. However, all techniques have to originate from the inner edges of the glass cage, complete or incomplete.

History and RP sample

History:
~Human Arc~

Kengen grew up in the bountiful country of Ireland. He was always a bit weak compared to the other boys his age physically, but was always able to outsmart them. At first he was the focus of bullies and over bearing authority figures. This quickly stopped when he engaged their wits and defeated every last one of them. He was taken to a psychiatrist for testing of his vast mental prowess and it was discovered that his IQ was around the 250 mark, an unheard of feature. The test was done when he was only about thirteen so they were extremely taken aback by this, and his parents beamed with pride. However, it was this trait which would create the tragedy in his life. His parents both worked for the government and so it was brought to their immediate attention as to this kids extreme potential. It was not long before the order was given and the child's parents were both assassinated and he was taken in and several attempts were maid to brake him of his individuality. It was all futile and he soon after, at the age of 17, escaped from their clutches and became a run away. He was on the run for several years and made his way to the mountains where his grandfather lived. His father was a man with many connections but lived in seclusion for his several terrorist attacks on the government. He resided here for a few more years, and began training himself in simple marital arts and assassins techniques. When he was 28 he bade his grand father good bye and returned to the capital. Here he faced against the head of the organization which had held him and killed his parents. He killed him in one swift blow but was quickly struck down afterwards by the mans guard and there guns.

~Becomning a Shinigami~

Kengen found himself soon after, in the afterlife, living in a strange town where many dead souls resided. He was one of many, but he had the desire to stand out. There was a man that appeared to be in his main thirties but was much much older living in one of the houses off the edge of town. He found the man while simply rambling through the countryside trying to decide what to do with this new situation. The man was apparently an ex-captain of the Gotei-13. The man had been removed at his own request after he had lost his powers in an exceptionally rough battle with an arrancar, the level unknown to Kengen. He agreed to train Kengen who showed great interest in joining the soul society and becoming a shinigami. His training took roughly 20 years before Kengen decided he was ready. His master followed a self awareness practice and let Kengen make the decions of his training for the most part. When he said he was ready, the man held his faith. He was enlisted into the academy at the request of the ex-captain, with out question or additional testing, He breezed by with ease in the academy, and was examined to be put into a squad in another 5 years, actually holding himself back a little bit to extend his basic training. He was assimilated after testing into the ninth squad as the Lieutenant due to his latent potential and skill, and also at request of the captain himself.

~ Escalation In Rank~
Kengen served under his captain fighting the hollows and maintaining peace for over 50 years, learning several skills under his captains guide. He focused all his potential into his speed, and retained his slightly physically weaker composure, but he also held a vast reserve of spirit pressure. Focusing everything on that, he became able to move at above average speeds with out using the flash step, able to become a blur when he moved, but unable to use the flash step itself. He had difficulty learning some kido. However, the level of the kido never seemed to affect it, it was just luck of the draw. He had no real interest in most of them, only choosing to learn the most needed. He also focused heavily on his Zanpakuto and after 70 years of using it, unlocked his bankai while training on his own. He was rumored to be one of the most skilled with a zanpakuto and was highly respected as a lieutenant. Eventually, his captain fell in battle, and Kengen filled his shoes as the new captain of the 9th squad where he has served for several years.

~Defection~
Kengen continued to serve as Captain for 150+ years, his loyalty to the ways of the soul society never wavering, not once. Even so, doubt slowly began to creep into his heart as he grew even more respected and began involving himself in the politics and investigating there ways and reasons for some of their more controversial orders. Eventually he decided that the Soul Society needed to not serve a rich and wealthy family of the afterlife, but be governed by themselves and make their own calls on everything and anything concerning their order. He went before the council and the Captain Comander as well as the prince of the royal family to bring forth his opinions and reasonings. He was respectful and was simply hoping for some change, but this went all wrong and back fired. He was ordered to be executed then and there, as a traitor to there way. He had served them for so long and now was being condemd for having an idea of his own. The CC himself made the attempt on his life. He was torn between survival and following the way he had devoted himself to, and so instead of fighting or allowing himself to be executed, he fled and went off on his own.

~Becoming A Vizard~
Kengen roamed the living world for a long time after that, and became the victim of a one of a kind transformation. In his torn soul, his spirit managed to do something that had never been done before. With out the influnece from the outside, the massive conflict within his soul created Kengen's inner hollow, itatchi, a cold contradiction of Ekigarusu, the manifestation in his zanpakuto. The hollow was cold, ruthless, and worst of all, patient, and quickly began to take over Kengen's mind. Being from the soul society, he knew that he had but one course of action. He would have to seek out the Vizards, and obtain there help in controling the beast with in. He had no wish to join them, but they accepted this after close examination and seeing the massive threat potential he had, wanting to keep him as an ally, and if not, not an enemy. He was able to go through the process as those before him had done, and was sent on his way. Now Kengen is forced with inumerable choices to make, the most important one being, which path will he now follow.

How long does it take for the environment to change(you can't go by speed)? The post you activated Bankai? One post afterward? How long does it take for the glass to regenerate? How much damage can it take before shattering(Strength stat wise as well as Kidou number; this applies to the cage itself as well)?

How many Stamina points will the afflicted person lose? Does it vary by how big the piece is(it should)?

And since it is fitting with your character, you are now the Kidou Master of the Vaizard; read over all the Kidou and basically know that your character may use that whenever. You are allowed 85 stat points to play with; keep in mind, it takes Stamina to fire off a Kidou, especially powerful ones. Congrats, edit, add, do whatever you need to do and I'll look over what has been revised.

Just hope you don't get too op with this. Can these crows suck energy from opponents, or any character controlled by a player? Say someone were to attack these crows. Could they phase through the solid attack, no matter the element?

This seems fine to me, just don't get too op with it. It seems like it has a lot of potential. Just be reasonable is all I ask, (Don't do stuff like leaving the glass prison and keeping your opponent trapped inside, and then closing it in on him quickly.)

*edit* also on a hunch i looked up the actual temperature of liquid glass which is much higher then I originally though so the swords temperature changed from 300 to 900 as some glass will melt at 900 while others require over 3000 degrees of heat before melting.

Keep the temperature on thelower end of the spectrum, people complain too much when that becomes involved. also, have initial contact leave second degree instead of third, blisters and such instead of melting skin/muscle. Again, people complain.

Only other thing is to put a kido/strength level up for actually breaking the glass wall, or wat is needed to slow the regenerative properties of the glass down to escape.

Ok changed the temperature but I cannot lower it to 2nd degree, its kind of not possible. I have a scar on my right pinky from melted plastic which dripped on it, a garbage bag, and it had about the same effect, sealing into my skin and solidifying fairly quickly. Im sure that 900 degree liquid glass would have about the same effect Also my Zanpakuto can not cut, or cause any kind of internal damage really not to mention it is a very contained attack so its really at a disadvantage in those aspects.

Ok bankai ya I made some major changes for ya. Kido strength/level is equal to 55 now. Um instead of putting what could be done to slow it down i put a distinct area of effect on it, so that way it regenerates a meter, 3 feet, every half post, thus giving a definite time frame for them to escape. I also added to the end of my bankai which you should read as well.

Point taken about the burn level.
