Shin'en Yuu stands roughly five feet and eleven inches tall, a medium build type with a very slight tan. His black hair hangs down, unevenly, just past his noes, perpetually covering one of his icy blue eyes no matter how many times he tries to move it out of the way. With a oval face, Yuu's feature's are sharp, from the keenness of his eyes to the angle of his ears. Although he usually holds a kind smile, it can quickly fade and his become like cold stone. When his old self reemerges, his eyes shine crimson in reaction to his reiatsu being released. With his head held high, the man holds a air of great resolve and calming, because of this, many find it easy to trust him. Over his lean muscled torso, Yuu wears a button down dress shirt, the top button undone as well as the cuffs. A black high collar jacket usually accompanies this. More then often it is left wide open, but there are times he has the clasps done all the way up, closing even the collar. Along with this, Yuu typically wears a pair of black trousers and what appear to be the most comfortable dress shoes in existence. Because of his attire and his ageless young face, many people have mistaken him for a highschool senior or a freshman in college.

It is obvious, just by looking at his roughed hands, that Yuu is a fighter, or was at one point. Small scars across his body also contribute to this, but the most noticeable scar is a massive slash going do from his left shoulder blade, down to his right side on his back. This is a gift from one of the Captains in the Gotei Thirteen from Yuu's escape from the Soul Society when he was convicted and sentenced to death because of his Hollowfication. Things like this are the clues to his past. Another is a gold band clamped tightly around his left ring finger. Though it had been long ago, Yuu keeps it on as a reminder of what happen's when he gets too close to others, having caused his Human wife's death and Hollow resurrection.

Personality: Yuu, over the years, has become a complicated being, pulled by his past and present lives. In the realm of humans, Yuu has made himself a comfortable life. Speaking little, but always understanding and kind, anyone that knows Yuu would say that he was as sweet as they come. He is keen and quick to pick up on the small things, along with a extraordinary intelligence, you would surprised to find him currently attending the local high school, in order to stay up to date on the newest things that humans are being taught. Books, the man's one true love, for it is the only thing that has existed longer then himself. Yuu seems to also have a passion for swordsmanship, currently in the Kendo Club at the high school. He also holds a fondness for cherry blossom trees and can be found sitting beneath them, reading. Being such a great man, no one would ever think it possible that he was once a ruthless, merciless, warrior. Not Yuu, who was appalled to see any type of violence that would harm innocents, directly or indirectly. He has even been known to rush to the aid of a stranger in order to help, just to disappear as quickly, afraid of bring to much attention to himself.

But behind the eyes of this great man lives the soul of a killer. In his time, Yuu had been one of the most feared Captains in the Gotei Thirteen. This ungodly natural instinct that he holds when it comes to war has not died, but has just hidden itself. In reality, Shin'en Yuu is still the merciless, cruel monster he was a little over three hundred years ago. His talents at bringing death have not dimmed, yet he denies this past to himself. Appalled by the monster he once was, he tries to atone for his sins, believing that the awakening of his Inner Hollow had been God's way of punishing him for everything he had ever done. With this sad, the darkness within him is just waiting to peak out its ugly little head, ready to turn him back into the cold, emotionless killing machine he once was. This is not his biggest fear though... His fear comes from the thought of being discovered by the Soul Society once more and the blood the would be shed when that dreaded day comes.

Over all, Yuu has always been a trustworthy person, not the type to go sneaking around and stabbing his comrades in the back. With his said, he as been known to tell people to not trust him, this being that he will turn against a friend at any second if he thinks they are a possible danger to his continuing existence. His top priority at all times his keeping himself alive and to do that, he is willing to do almost anything to keep that. This clashes with his ability to care for others, and need to help and love. However, he learned his lesson on getting too close to others.

Mask Information

Power Amplification: Like any Vaizard, Shin'en Yuu's currently abilities suddenly jump when his mask is don.

• Enhanced Speed - Yuu's already incredible speed increase to an extreme degree allowing him to move far quicker then most Shinigami and Arrancar.
  
  
• Physical Resistances/Reinforcement - Like his speed, his strength also increase, though not to the same degree. With this, his body becomes slightly reinforced, making him more resistant to damage, like that of an Arrancar's Hierro, though he does not have such a technique. Because of this, Yuu can ignore his injuries to a certain extent.
  
  
• Zanpakuto Release Enhancement - Sho-Rohime's ability, Kuwaireshiki is drastically enhanced. This enhancement is not place on its power, but its speed, increasing it to twice its normal speed, making it nearly impossible to see.

Hollow Mask Appearance:

Demon like in appearance, Yuu's Hollow mask is truly a great representation of the darkness within. With three short horns extending from the top, one at each temple, and the third directly in the center of the forehead, the mask stops right at his hairline. Traveling down, one would notice that just above the eyes the mask jets out sharply, before curving back in as it hits the curved eye holes. From the outside corner of each eye a thick green line curves down before curving upwards, towards the inside of the mask, in a hook shape. The noes of the mask it nothing more then a slight bump with two small slits in it. Just below the noes is the mask's smile of curving, flat bottomed teeth extending all along the mask, stopping at about where Yuu's cheek bones are. Mask continues back, going along under his ear and around the back of his head, where to tips of both sides barely meet and the base of his skull. From where the teeth end all the way to where the mask stops in the back is a cracked line. The bottom jaw continues, as well, past the chin and stops at his throat, exposing only his ears and his hair.

Duration: After a little less then two centuries of training, Yuu can hold his mask for six posts before having to remove it.

Zanpakuto Information

Zanpakuto Name: Sho-rohime

Zanpaktou Theme: Looks Deceive

Unreleased Zanpakuto Appearance Like any other Zanpakuto, Yuu's looks like that of a katana. What's different on it from others is not its black wrapped two and a half long hilt, nor is it the fact that a small chain hangs from a gold cap at the bottom. The flat gold, rectangular guard at the base of the blade is nothing but ordinary as well, the only unique thing about that is the elegant, twisting engraving carved into both sides. No, it is the blade itself that creates this odd uniqueness. Sitting a merely a foot and a half, roughly, the blade has a light red tint to it. This red, that seems to glow it hunger, is the stain from all the blood Yuu has ever shed with his Zanpakuto. Vicious and merciless like its master, the sword purposely retained the blood within it as a warning to all that ever saw it.

Zanpakuto Release Phrase: Pierce through Heaven and Earth, Sho-rohime.

Released Zanpakuto Looks: In terms of flashiness, not much changes when Sho-rohime's power is called forth. The blade, remains exactly the same in every aspect. The rest of it, however, does go through some alterations. The hilt extends out to just about five feet, becoming a smooth, black staff. The guard, though it remains, changes as well, morphing into a disk roughly half a foot in diameter with a web design on it. From there the crimson blade jets out, ready to pierce through it's victims and feel their blood run down it. At the opposite end of the staff resides a gold orb, matching the guard, about the size of an apple. This's sole purpose is to deliver bone crush blows to the enemy. It also keeps Yuu from being stuck with only having the blade to do real damage with his weapon.

Released Zanpaktou Abilities: Once released, Sho-rohime only gains a small amount of abilities. The first, and most noticeable being Kuwaireshiki (Ground-Breaking Ceremony). Kuwaireshiki allows the naginata to suddenly, and rapidly extend, rocketing in one direction at high speeds. The length at which it came extent to is the equivalent to that of two full sized football fields. Kikan(Mirror) is the second ability. This one allows Yuu to utilize any reflective surface as his weapon. By passively using his weapons reiatsu, an "imprint" of Sho-rohime is left within every reflective surface that happens to reflect the naginata. When the ability is activated fully, Yuu is able to use these "imprints" to manifest identical naginatas within those reflective surfaces. From there, by using Kuwaireshiki, he is capable of making them jet forth from the reflection, and extend in any direction like he would with his own naginata. Of course, he can only make one imprint per reflection, this meaning that he could not make more then one come out of the same surface.

Zanpakuto Spirit: (For picture, look above at Yuu's Appearance.) Sho-rohime is as vicious in her living form as she is as a weapon. With white, flowing hair that reaches her waist, and white cat ears on the top of her head, she appears very innocent at first. However, her yellow keen eyes show that she is a natural killer, ready to pounce and tear your throat open. Wearing nothing, but a velvety red robe, tied tightly about her waist, but hanging loosely about her shoulders, on the edge of exposing her bosom to the world as it barely holds on. Despite this, it never falls all the way off, even when its just hanging around her shoulders. Relatively thin, with curving, the woman's hands and feet are clawed. Fair skinned, only five feet and seven inches tall, some would find it hard to believe that such a spirit was really Yuu's Zanpakuto. Selfish, quick to act, and unnecessarily violent, she seems to be quite different from the calm, well collected, analytic thinker that wields her. In reality, they both are a good representation of Yuu. Though he is calm on the outside, he is nothing more then raging fire an ice on the inside, a freezing inferno ready to engulf life, just like how Sho-rohime is. Though, despite everything, the Zanpakuto always has a piece of great advice for Yuu in his time of need, though he may not always understand it right away.

Zanpakuto Realm: Yuu's world within, like his life, is broken and scattered about. Made of nothing but small flying islands of marble in an infinite sky, there is no way of knowing forwards from backwards. Each island being different sizes, each one also has rubble, and pieces of broken down Romain style buildings. Pillars, broken statues and walls to building or fallen roofs litter the islands. The largest island, resting in the middle of them all, holds a broken down Colosseum on it. This is where Yuu usually appears, and where one will find Sho-rohime, though she does tend to wander off. Also scattered across the realm are shadows of past foes, waiting for Yuu of his Znapajuto counterpart to stubble upon them and cause trouble. Though they are not as nearly strong as they once were living, they are a nuisance and tend to hurt Yuu more mentally then they do physically.

The biggest thing about Yuu's Inner World is the sky, above and below the floating islands. At a glance, no one would notice anything, just clouds innocently drifting about the islands, above, and below as well. However, if someone actually paid attention, they would notice that the sky above and below are reflecting everything between, including the islands. Though it appears to be massive, endless mirrors, to the touch, the surface ripples like water. One can only speculate what is on the other sides, but Sho-rohime simply states that "They let you see the entirety of your world, they way you wish to see it," implying that Yuu created these liquid mirrors in order to hid something from himself.


Bankai Information

Bankai Name: Rosutokishi Sho-rohime (Crying Princess's Lost Knight)

Bankai Description: There have been those that have wielded dual Zanpakutos. Though this is rare, it is not unheard of, there is a type, though, that is. Dual spirits residing in one Zanpakuto has never been recorded before Yuu achieved his Bankai. Releasing the power's of Sho-rohime, Yuu calls upon the powers of the second spirit that lies beyond the mirror barriers within his Inner World. With the power of Rosutokishi, Yuu surrenders his body, allowing it to encompass him and turn him into the weapon. While in Bankai, Yuu has no reiatsu, all of it used in its creation, making him faster, stronger and more deadly. However as a draw back, the Vaizard cannot use any reiatsu based attacks not pertaining to his Bankai, such as Kidos. Also, he loses all sense of himself, becoming a mindless weapon that only knows to kill what is perceived as the enemy, and anything else that happens to be in the way at the time. When in Bankai, there is no reasoning, there is no making a deal, there is only the death he brings.

Bankai Looks: Shining white wings, and armor darker then night covering his body, Yuu looks like an angel of death sent from Heaven itself. The shining wings being made of a highly reflective metal, they appear to be constantly shining no matter how little light there is. Each wing reaching out about five feet, they are very agile and can be used for defensive as well as offensive means, each feather being razor sharp. Attaching to the back of the black armor, one would that that there appears to be no seam between the two. The armor is surprisingly mailable, allowing Yuu to move as if he was wearing absolutely none. Without a single part of his body exposed, one could almost say that the armor was more like a second skin then it was a suit. Over the armor is a dark gray cloth, wrapping about his shoulders before falling over and hiding his right arm. His face, instead of being armored like everything else, merely changes. His skin becomes a dark gray, almost matching the clothe on his shoulders, his eyes constantly glaring as the irises shine crimson. His hair, no longer falling over his face is now spike back at an angel. In his hand, Yuu holds a long black staff, like his naginata, but where the red tinted blade once stood there are now three blades instead. Creating a cross like a appearance, the three blades are each double edged, extending out a foot each. The first going straight up and out from the end of the staff, the other two, at ninety degree angle from the first blade and the staff. Where all four connect is a slightly large diamond shape, silver with an beautiful and flawless design across it. At the opposite in is a large silver spike, matching the blades. This is the form of the Blood Reaper.

History and RP Sample

History: Like many Shinigami throughout the ages, Shin'en Yuu started a nothing more then a lowly citizen of the Rukongai a soul with no future of every having anything but a broken down home shared by dozens of others. As a young lad, Yuu did his best to avoid trouble, but his sense of justice never allowed him to prevail. Whenever he saw an act that he believed as wrong, the boy would leap in getting himself into fights with the wrong people. Many times, because of this, people would find him just barely alive. As time past and as Yuu got older, this sense of justice never faltered, but with it, grew a coldness deep within his heart. Now, when Yuu fought, he did not only fight to protect whatever innocence that happened to be a victim at the time, but he fought to kill whoever it was that had incurred his wrath. This not only gave he a reputation, but also began to spread fear. In his district, there was now something that the people despised more then the Shinigami, there was Shin'en Yuu... the Blood Reaper.

It was long before Yuu was discovered by the Shinigami, who had been sent to stop his killings. However, upon finding him they uncovered why he had become so strong. The boy had high level of reiatsu that he had been, by accident, tapping into to help accelerated, slightly, the speed at which he was building strength. Taking him, the Shinigami told him this and how he could try and become a Shinigami by entering the Shinigami Academy. Like many others, Yuu held a distaste for Shinigami, but the thought that by doing this he could pursue his sense of justice and make a difference in the world pushed him into enrolling. Right from the start, the boy from the Rukongai stuck out like a sore thumb. The way he talked and walked, everything he did held a lack of grace that all the other students seem to have. This instant separation did not dilute why Yuu had enrolled. He was determined to make it through and become a Shinigami, and also, to leave the mindless violence he had once used behind him for good. The longer he was in the school, the more it became apparent to the others that he was not quiting just because they didn't like him. Quickly, Yuu made rivals in ever aspect of the schooling as he rapidly excelled in everything. As the years past, elegance and grace became a part of everything he did and slowly the other students began to resent him, someone who had come up from nothing was surpassing them in things that they had study all there life in there house with there servants busying about around them.

Upon graduating from the Academy, Yuu was almost instantly picked up by Ninth Division, who had seen his potential and wanted it to grow. of course there was always those better then him in almost every field, but that was what kept him pushing, to surpass them and gain more influence in order to make a difference. Quickly, the young Shinigami climbed the ranks, grabbing the position of Lieutenant with ease. After only three quarters of a century, Yuu was recommended to be his Captains replacement, a man who was renowned for his kindness, but felt that it was time to step down. Although he was denied, his Captain believed that Yuu deserved the position and that he as too old to continue. It wasn't to long after did Yuu fight his mentor in front of over two hundred people. That day he walked away carrying the Captain's Haori that was now stained with blood. In a matter of days whispers spread among the Seireitei, speaking of the brutal Blood Reaper.

For over one hundred years, Yuu was the Captain of Ninth Division and he did his job well. Though his former title from the Rukongai had followed him to his new home, he did not hold him back, it did not make those around him fear him, but made he an idol to many within his Division, being the most dedicated to his work as a Shinigami. Now, the Shinigami held the title proudly, no longer associating it to his past. However, this perfect life he held did not last long when the darkness that had built within his heart finally broke free.

One night, Captain Yuu received classified orders from the Captain Commander himself, to go to the Realm of the Living and investigate an unknown reiatsu that had been popping up in the area. Allowed to bring only two others with him, Yuu solicated the help of his Lieutenant and Third Seat, both of them the most talented souls he had ever known. Leaving from the Soul Society, no other person, aside from the three and the Captain Commander knew of their mission, and thus, there was no one to stop what was to come. Arriving in the area of the mysterious reiatsu, Yuu instantly knew that there was something horribly wrong. They were standing in a small village, but not a single living thing was there. In fact, the only thing close was the bodies of the humans that had once inhabited the area, each one stone dead... as if something had merely torn their souls from their bodies. The three did not have much time to think on the matter when their were suddenly ambushed by a horde of Hollows. Fighting desperately, Yuu and his two subordinates quickly discovered that the caliber of these Hollows were far to high to be your run in the mill bad spirits. Something had brought these here on purpose.

The battle rage for hours before all the Hollows were finally put to rest. The Third Seat Shinigami and the Lieutenant were mortally wounded, Yuu himself, was barely standing when the mysterious reiatsu emerged, and its source became apparent. It seemed that a human in the village had developed a high level of reiatsu over the years, and it had manifested in one ability, the ability to awaken the demon within. The human had planned on taking his army of Hollows to create more, and take control of the world. Yuu would not have this, but before he could move his battle ragged body, he felt a horrible sensation overtake his body. The human had slipped through his sights and had plunged his hand into Yuu's chest with his ability. "Awaken ye demon, and rise to my voice," the human sang out. It took only seconds before the sleeping Hollow within to awaken, and for the mask to begin manifestation. Under the influence of the Hollow, Yuu killed the human, to powerful for the poor being to control, before turning his sights on his Third Seat, whom was just struggling to his feet. The attack came to swift for the subordinate to avoid. It took only one swipe to send the man back to the ground, dying quickly. Walking to him, the Hollow brought his sword up, readying himself to delivery the final blow when a noise from behind him drew his attention. Turning to kill, the Hollow came to face the slash of a blade. Yuu's Lieutenant had awaken when he had been dealing with the human and had seen what had followed. His blade caught the mask, shattering it and halting the Hollowfication, but the damage was already done.

Captain Yuu was arrested upon arrival back to the Soul Society and sentenced to death immediately. Yuu accepted this, and was very cooperative. He sat in a cell, shackled with Seki Seki to keep him from trying to escape when he received a visitor. It was a man who had been in Yuu's class back in the Academy. They hadn't been close, but he had been kind enough to be called a friend. Though they had not seen each other for hundreds of years, the man had one last act of kindness to show, information and a way out. It had seemed that the whole thing had been a set up from the beginning. Central 46 had been aware of the human's abilities and had sent Yuu there believing he would not return at all. The Hollowfication had merely been a result, but they had never expected for him to return as a Vaizard, much less alive. The man removed the shackles before disappearing, not wanting to be in the path of the Blood Reaper.

The battle out of the Soul Society was a bloody one indeed. Many young Shinigami lost their lives and even with the efforts of all the available Captains to stop him, Yuu still manage to escape the world and flee to the Realm of the Living. There, for the next two hundred years, he was hunted, desperately hiding and fighting in order to stay alive, not only Shinigami, but also his inner Hollow. For so long, Yuu just wished to be left alone, the only Vaizard that he knew of. Then, suddenly, Yuu stopped running having realized that he was no longer being chased. Things were quiet, and now there was nothing left to live for. He had fought desperately to live, but now that he no longer needed to fight, he didn't know what else there was to do.

Life moved on, and Yuu found love. Married he had found himself something to live for and he was happy, but even that was stripped from him when a Hollow attacked, having been drawn by a small flow of unconscious reiatsu that seep when he slept. The attack was so swift and unexpected and Yuu had gotten so use to the quite life that he couldn't react in time to stop it. Death quickly found the Hollow, and Yuu was once again alone, but oddly enough it did not bother him like before. Though he mourned the death of his wife, he did not stop moving forward, deciding that the most he could do was live his life and enjoy the small things that he could.

RP Sample: The air was chilled, normal for this time of the year. The occasional car zoomed by, breaking the silence before it retook the air once more. A young man stood that the corner, under the flicker light of a street lamp, watching the car move past. His clothes were all black, and resembled the uniform of a nearby high school. The high collar of his jack was closed to help fight the cold from overtaking his body this night. As the car passed, the air flow pushed the man's hair up, revealing his ice blue eyes, before the bangs fell over them once again. Pushing his hair off to the side so that he could at least see out of one eye, he stepped down from the sidewalk and proceeded to cross the road. With a plastic sack of groceries in his other hand, he stuffed the free hand into his pocket, to try and warm it up. He smiled as he walked, his hair moving ever so slightly with each step, it was hard to believe that this young man was really a trained warrior that was hundreds of years old.

Once more the man came to another street corner. Stopping he merely stood on place as a small frown to the place of his smile. The light above he flickered like the other had, but it had nothing to do with the actual light. He had realized before that he was being followed, but had wanted to make sure that there was no one around to get hurt. "You really suck at sneaking around, I hope you know that," His voice was very monotoned, not a trace of emotion in it. A large Hollow materialized behind him, seeming to have been camouflaged. It was simply put off that this human had known where he had been.

"How did you know I was there Human," It hissed as it hunched over him, opening its mask to devour him. The man just stood there, dropping his bag on the ground. He didn't move, but something about him changed, and the Hollow felt it. Moving back a little bit, the Hollow watched the human carefully and was slightly startled when he began to speak again. "I could smell your disgusting soul!" The human's voice was distorted as if two people with very distinct levels in pitch were talking at once and it was then that the Hollow suddenly felt the weight of a Hollow like reiatsu drop on it. Trying to move in fear, the Hollow found itself barely able to hold itself up as he watched the human slowly turn, his eyes glowing red through his Hollow mask. It didn't understand, how could this human have a mask?! Or was it mistaken, and this Human really an Arrancar in disguise. Raising his hand up, red sparks suddenly bordered it before a chuck was blow out of the side of the Hollows head.

Falling to the ground, the Hollow still lived, staring at the monster that slowly walked towards it. "Who are you?!" It screamed out in fear and rage. The man came to a stop, holding his hand out again, the sparks flashing continually as if ready to fire. "I am Shin'en Yuu... the Blood Reaper," he responded with that same distorted voice. The Hollow cried out right before its head suddenly exploded and its body dematerialized. The mask on Yuu's face suddenly vanished into wisps of white smoke as he stared at where the Hollow had once been. He never used his Shinigami powers in fear of drawing attention. Using only his Hollow powers and reiatsu, it would appear a Hollow had killed another Hollow. Turn back and walking, Yuu stooped over and picked his bag back up as he began his walk back home. He was the dark protector of this world.

Kikan(Mirror) is the second ability. This one allows Yuu to utilize any reflective surface as his weapon, by making a reflection of Sho-Rohime extend forth from it at his enemies.

He hasn't been a captain for about 250 years (if the captain part goes through) wouldn't make sense then, for him to be older then that of the Captains?

Make him around 700-800 then. Even the Captain commander is only 1000-1300(on this site), and he should be the oldest shinigami by quite a ways.

Good app. Nothing too overpowered, but those level 100 kidos are both forbidden to use. If you use them, you will be severely weakened, and it gives up your location, making you an easy target.

1.) You don't have to put a 25% decrease on somewhere in the application(I don't think), you may describe that he's physically weak or slow, etc..,
2.) Speed OR Strength, either way.

I erased all signs of him being Kido Captain and reduced the amount of Kidos he has.

Changed to Former Ninth, I see.. Well, I'll leave it up to FA now.

In that case, I'll take FA's word that everything else was in order.
