Loakey has long, unkempt black hair and deep green eyes. He is tall, standing at about 6"4', and is well muscled. He has high cheekbones and a sharp face. His mouth is almost always curved in a small smile. He has a large scar on his chest from when a hollow clawed him as a student. He wears the pants and sandals of the soul reaper uniform without a shirt. When in the human world, he wears jeans and sneakers with a gray shirt and a long black coat.

Alignment: Neutral Good

Personality: Loakey is always cheerful and mellow. He is laid back to a point where he is considered lazy by most, which sometimes gets him in trouble. Loakey always seems to be able to stay calm and cheerful in any situation, often infuriating his enemies by laughing or joking in the middle of a fight. However, his temper always seems to snap when people insult or threaten his friends, which is when his title, 'The Black Demon', shows. Loakey isn't afraid of going against orders if it means that the job will get done, but he tends to get scolded a lot for it. Loakey is viewed as somewhat of a ladie's man, as he is very friendly with the female shinigami. But he says that this comes down to the fact that women are downright scary if you make them mad. He is also very nostalgic, thinking about the past at innapropriate times.

In its unreleased form, Kage Okami is a simple tanto with a black hilt.

Zanpakuto Release Phrase: Yoru Wotoshite Kuki, Kage Okami (Stalk Through The Night, Kage Okami)

In its Released state, Kage Okami becomes a set of bracers with a long blade mounted on each one. A handle extends from the end of the bracer with another two blades on each side. The claws are connected by a length of chain that rests over Loakey's shoulders.

Zanpaktou Abilities: Kage Okami's abilities utilise 'Dark Reishi', which rests in shadows. It also raises Loakey's speed.
Kage Okami can manipulate shadows to a certain extent, but the range is very limited and the blade must by in contact with a shadow.
It's main ability is simply called 'Yami'. The patterns on the blades glow dark blue, and the blade fires an energy blast.
Another ability is Kage no Hoyo. The target is wrapped in reishi, which then implodes, shredding the targets skin with light cuts.
Shikai's best ability is Yamiyo. The blade releases a flash of energy that covers the area in a shroud of darkness. It increases the range of shadow manipulation and also makes it very hard to see.

The Bankai takes the form of two large, black claws that are connected by a black chain. Loakey's Haori turns a deep, dark blue and his eyes look like a wolf's. His canines turn into fangs as well.

Bankai Ablities: Bankai keeps most of it's abilities, but loses shadow manipulation.
Yamiyo changes a bit in this form, the shroud messes with the senses, makeing things seem blurry and muffled, and slowing reaction time.
A new ability is Okami Tsume. The blades are cloaked in reishi, and Loakey charges at the target, shredding them with dark fire.
Another is Ten no Kusari. The chain glows blue and extends, wrapping enemies and holding them in place. It then glows white hot, scorching the enemy's skin.
The most powerful ability is Mangetsu no Nageki. The blades glow blue and four arcs of energy hover over Loakey's head. They combine into a disc and fly at the target. The disc can cut almost anything, and when it stops, it releases a blast of energy above and below it. This ability takes a lot of energy, so it is only used as a last resort.

Kage Okami's spirit is a large black wolf with a silver moon on it's left shoulder. It's personality is the exact opposite of Loakey's. He is always very serious, and hates it when people don't follow the rules to a letter. It is always scolding Loakey, but they get on very well, like close brothers.

Loakey's inner world is a dark forest. Mist constantly swirls around the ground and it is always night with a full moon. Kage Okami often says that is due to the fact that Loakey is much too laid back and peaceful.

History and RP Sample

History:
Loakey was a normal high school student before he died. He was veiwed as a bit of a delinquent, being part of a local gang and always getting into trouble. But he soon ran into trouble for his 'fun'. One day, while walking home from school, a group of guys from a rival gang jumped him and murdered him as 'punishment' for getting on their wrong side.
During his time in the Rukongai, Loakey was taught about the Shinigami by an old couple who took in young ones without parents. He soon aspired to become a shinigami and protect those that took such good care of him.
Loakey struggled to even make it through the entrance exams, his knowledge of kido was very limited, and the only area he excelled in was combat. But he was able to just scrape a pass.
Soon after joining the academy, Loakey met the captain of the 10th division. This meeting changed his life. The old man inspired his heart and soul, and Loakey was more determined than ever to realise his dream, using the old captain as his focus. He was soon able to attain his Shikai a year after graduation.
Upon graduation, Loakey was assigned to the second division. He always enjoyed being in the 2nd division, the stealth and assasination techniques interested him greatly and he enjoyed the company of his captain. But even though the techniques interested him, Loakey always prefered to face his opponent in one-on-one combat, so was transfered to the 11th division.
During that time, Loakey learnt a lot about about combat, but was often excluded from missions because his zanpakuto was a kido type.
After 50 years in the 11th division, Loakey was transfered to the 10th. This excited him greatly, he would finally be able to serve under his idol! He trained hard under his captain, and soon attained the rank of Vice Captain. However, this acheivement was not to be enjoyed for very long. During a mission, a powerul Arrancar appeared with a group of Gillians and Loakey was ambushed. The fight forced Loakey to reveal his secret, Bankai. He had trained for Bankai as soon as he had graduated, and had only achieved it in the last year of his time in the 11th Division. But he was still not able to control this new power, and was gravely wounded. His last memory of that night is the captain standing in front of the Arrancar.
When he woke up, he was given the sad news, the 10th captain was dead. This news devastated Loakey greatly, and he went into a state of withdrawal for many months. He would barely talk to anyone, and ran the 10th Division from the shadows of his former Captain's quarters. Many of his squad members even noticed that his fighting style had become more aggressive.
After half a year, though, Loakey had suddenly changed back tohis normal self, albeit
a fair bit quieter. The reasons for this are still unknown, but there is speculation that he found something in the Captains quarters. The real reason was a meeting with the Captain Commander Kizaru Tatsuo, who gifted Loakey with a pendant that the 10th Captain always wore.
Loakey became rather close friends with Tatsuo, and is still running the 10th Division. He eagerly awaits the arrival of a new captain.

RP Sample
Loakey gazed out over the field of new recruits training in the academy. A smile played at his lips. "Brings back memories, doesn't it?" He turned to Tatsuo, who gave a small chuckle.
"It certainly does, my friend".
Loakey and Tatsuo were on the roof of a building above the training grounds. Loakey lying out, soaking in the sunlight, Tatsuo sitting straight and cross-legged.
"This year's group shows great potential", Tatsuo muttered, regarding the students fondly.
"What was that boss? You talk way too quietly, noone can hear you at all!"
Tatsuo looked at him, a slight frown on his usually smiling face. "I'm sure you heard me the first time, didn't you?"
"O...of course i did, i was only teasing!" Loakey held up his hands, a look of mock fear on his face.
"That's good then". Tatsuo returned to watching the students.
"you really know how to command your subordonites, don't you?", Loakey laughed, "All you did was frown and i was scared stiff".
Tatsuo laughed long and loud, something that was very out of character. "All i did was ask you a question, you shouldn't have any reason to be scared of me".
"You're fighting ability sugests otherwise", Loakey chuckled. "But still", he muttered thoughtfully, turning back to the trainees, "It'll be interesting to see how these ones turn out....."

It seems that there are a lot of characters for 10th Captain, so i'll change this to advanced Vice Captain (if i'm allowed to keep my Bankai!?)
